Barn finds are becoming increasingly more common as a result of “real” barn finds going for big money. People are taking junkers, stuffing them in barns and covering them with dirt, dust and junk. They’ll take pictures so as to “document” their find and then head to an auction and get more for the car as a barn find rather then a junker. They describe a car desperately needing rust removal and a paint job as having a nice “patina”. As PT Barnum supposedly said, “ there’s a sucker point every minute”. Of course we NOTHINGS are smarter than that [emoji3]

Update. Now it’s working. All I did was move to “participated” from “timeline” then it self corrected. NOTHING is now plumb with my world .

Cool how that got posted at exactly 12AM, and I like how you added the PST time. After all, K needs all the help he can get. Seems he doesn't remember what day it is anymore unless I post - lol. Just kidding, K - you're the best Kommander any bunch of NOTHINGS could ever have.

Anyway, just in case, it is Saturday and I think K said he is working......really, on a Saturday? Now that's being NOTHING but ambitious about retiring ASAP. Actually I'm working today as well, but it ends up to be more like babysitting on most Saturdays than working. Fine by me, I get paid the same no matter whether I'm doing something or NOTHING, and you all know how much I prefer doing NOTHING.

Today is Friday. NOTHING but a work day for me but hopefully a fun day for the rest of you.

So how's the weather been down there? We have had the first nice spring season up here in a very long time, except for the allergies which have been exceptionally bad this year. Beautiful days, cooler evenings - perfect weather and enjoying every bit of it. We usually go from the cold of winter right to the stifling heat and humidity of summer, so this has been a real treat.

Nucky, did I gather correctly from your post that you are headed up this way soon? Did you hear I'll be going to TV in a few weeks and decided to get out of dodge?

W - hope all ended up going well with your surgery and you aren't in too much pain today.

K - hope you didn't eat too many drumsticks - lol

Enjoy your day, everyone!

Perhaps when you are here is a good time to invite some TOTVrs to our house. Hope you can come too. Nothing would be more fun for us.

I would be wealthy if it wasn't for our families love of cars especially, ready for this, Mini Coopers. I'm like 10 lbs of potatoes in a 5 lb bag in a Mini but I don't care. We love 'em. I understand my son is waiting for a right-hand drive old school Mini. Some we make money and some we don't, many we don't but life is for NOTHING but living.
We are car people also and have a Camaro that my husband ordered from the factory back in 78. When we decided to move here we knew we needed a CYV for the dogs with a 2 car garage for the car. Minis are nothing but cute our neighbor has one and our other neighbor has an old Packard. Best neighborhood ever!

There is a man that looks quite a bit like Santa Claus who drives a mini in our vicinity. I often wonder where the reindeer will go and not for NOTHING.

Not for nothing but from what I have heard they are very rugged and fun cars and very roomy also. I would think he would only need the reindeer when he wanted to fly so he must board them nearby.

Galaxy Whitetails >> Our Deer Galaxy Whitetails >> About Us

His reindeer are very close by. I just have trouble imagining them pulling a Mini-Cooper with all those toys in tow. Unless they carry NOTHING but Santa.

I see some of these reindeer once in a while. They are often too far from the road though or maybe inside out of the heat. NOTHING but interesting with life around the Villages.

Very interesting. I never saw an armadillo before moving here and I am loving the birds and soft shell turtles and even the alligators. Nothing like the variety of wildlife here. The only thing I miss from up north are the moose.

There are probably moose somewhere around the Villages. You never know what you will find until you Google. NOTHING ventured, NOTHING gained.

I see that NOTHING is off to a good start this morning..

And yep, I'm off to work, for at least a few hours anyway.

Have a great day everyone..
