Not much to say. Either have to be NOTHING but part of the problem or part of the solution. Sometimes Silence is Golden even when it is The Written Word. So much talk on the Forum about bodily functions. It is important discussion and a very valid subject but you know sometimes it gets old. It's all what it is. It will never change and we just have to accept it or else adios! I don't wanna go adios yet!

Maybe its all the current events going on in the world. Who knows. I took a News break today so far and it feels good.

I did read some Extremely Helpful links in the Coronavirus Thread. Specifically Post #2 - #3 - #4. The CDC site is invaluable.

Gotta have Faith because for the moment there really is no other preparation other than things we should be doing everyday. Peace Out!

Nothing from me on here for a day or so...

Mrs Spoiler and I went to look at a house on Tuesday and went back Wednesday and purchased it.

So I guess we’re moving.

Nothing to do but wait until the closing now....

I hope you like your new digs. A know several couples who moved a lot of times while here in the Villages looking for just the right spot. We have NOTHING but been satisfied with our place since 2005. This is about the longest I have been in one spot or one house. Neighbors play a big part.

Thank you guys... The original plan in moving here was always to just get any place first just to move in to, then have a place built when an appropriate chunk of dirt became available.
.

Then my sore throat problem occurred right when we got here and it delayed everything. Now finally with that situation behind us, we started working on finding something, looking at either lots or homes.
.
.
This past Tuesday we saw a house that just listed on Zillow and we went and checked it out, It turned out to be all we were hoping for, so we struck an agreement with the nice people.
.
.
So now we are nothing but off to the races. Closing is in only a week from now.
.
.
The only sad part is that we have some nice neighbors around us here that we started friendships with...
.
.
I’m sure the new neighbors will be great as well. I never have had any trouble with people knowing who I was anywhere I’ve lived. Usually I try to make that first impression right away when I’m out in the front yard walking around with a beer.
.
.
I guess we will see....
.

Donated platelets yesterday and watched three episodes of N.C.I.S from the 11th Season. These are about 42 minutes each so that was about 126 minutes in the chair and not for NOTHING. They have Netflix at One Blood.

One neat thing this year is that they have platelet donation t-shirts for the months of February, April, June, August, October, and December.

Today is the birthday of a guy I worked with years back. He was like NOTHING but a little kid because his birthday was on leap day. Somehow he got himself onto the David Letterman Show where David had a gang of people with leap year birthdays.

My friend went from the absolute king of comedy and all around fun person to be around to the same as Jackie Gleason when his character seized up when he was on TV being The Chef Of The Future. David tried to speak to this guy Randy and all he got was blabber. Great Memory!

Cannot say I have ever met a person born on February 29. And that is not NOTHING as I was in a huge dorm on the U of MN and interacted with a lot of people. Of course, talking about birthdays was not a big thing. And I went to the University of Nevada, Reno; BYU Law School; the University of Denver; and the College of San Mateo too. They often had birthdays as a way of posting grades. Remember that as I was often excited about how well I had done on an exam at the U of MN Law School but that was the grade for a woman there who had the same 2-24 birthday as me. She is about five years younger than me though and is a very successful DC area lawyer. I do wonder what she makes out of some things in movies and TV shows.

And I did volunteer among many seniors and some high school kids at Palm Harbor Library and East Lake Community Library for 10-14 hours a week from 2000-2003 in Palm Harbor, FL.
