Just wanted to take the time to respond to your post. Rest assured that it matters not whether you understand the origin of NOTHING because it's all about NOTHING no matter how you view it. When NOTHING first started it was pretty simple - short statements but always including the word NOTHING. Like everything else in life, even NOTHING evolved. It got more complicated, probably because there was a girl in the mix. :o Nevertheless, it went from simple short statements to longer ones and sometimes even stories. All are acceptable as long as there is a NOTHING in there. Variety is the spice of life even with NOTHING, so bring on whatever it is you have to offer and want to give. This is a no judgment zone dedicated to peace and acceptance of all who value NOTHING.

I’m back. Found where they were serving dinner. There’s NOTHING but about 200 of us here. Nice small camp.

Today was good for the soul. As we were heading out to the fire, going by houses, we saw a lot of thank you signs. I bet more than half the houses had them. Now mind you these people were just let back into their houses yesterday afternoon after being evacuated for the better part of a week. They cared enough to come home and one of the first things they did was show their appreciation. Sure humbles you when they take the time out of their stressful situation to acknowledge your efforts.

Great story, and not for NOTHING. What a wonderful way to begin wrapping up your time there. Glad you had the opportunity tonight to share it with us. It was worth still being awake for......:)

Thanks, fw.......that often feels like NOTHING but the truth. I'll say it again, I'm NOTHING but thankful for the job I currently have, but work is still work. My husband and I have been diligently working on our financial plan to wrap things up so neither of us has to be tied to a job to maintain both homes if it comes to that. We have a couple of important meetings scheduled in the next 2 weeks to confirm a lot this. Wish us luck......
