So I haven't announced the day and date for awhile and even I woke up this morning not having a clue. We are already into the 9th day of February. I don't ever remember a winter going by so fast. K, I don't know if you're in the midst of a snowstorm up there or what, but be careful getting the Mrs to the airport and praying she has a safe flight. It's my Saturday to work so I'll be out of here shortly - off to work and then to the airport myself. Hope you all have a great day! |

I have a neighbor, a new one who seems to be NOTHING but a nice person for a Person Who I'm happy is my neighbor. Someone in his house called on one of the Contractors to move his truck immediately because it was blocking his driveway. His Boss called him to make this strategic move. Not true, the contractor was parked at least 10 feet on my side of The Ponderosa. I took it in stride, BFD. The Contractors helper was ready to rip the Neighbors eyes out. Why? What's the biggie? So I Zenned the Contractors Helper and talked him through moving the truck up another 10 feet and everybody is alive to enjoy this beautiful day.
There was nobody else in the hood at that time and I feel bad for the person who called. The interesting thing is they never went out of their NOTHING driveway. Who Gives a HOOT. Free Entertainment. Maybe I better turn the Music Down Though! :1rotfl::1rotfl::blahblahblah: |

Just think about the build-up to the Dog and then the Let-Down. Mrs. Nucky Some of our Dog-friendly Friends and of Course my NOTHING but Friends on TOTV'S. I was inclined to run to the action before but no longer want that in my life. Someone just cut me off bug time at Orange Blossom C.C. We stopped to see that they were Okay, they were shocked. What the hell is the difference if I went New Jersey on them or comforted them? Everybody is Okay and it's just your typical day in The Villages. We made another friend. All Good. :1rotfl: Mrs. Nucky just said that if we ever got another dog it would have to be a Boxer. I was having such a great day up till that moment now the wheels are a turning! Coo-Coo! :ohdear: K-Man I'm glad you made it home a completed your mission with the wifey. I never had any doubt you could do it with ease. |
There is ABSOLUTELY nothing that would entice me to join this thread. I mean, what a waste of time. Doubt that it will get more than 100 or so views and a few postings.
OK, back to my life. :spoken: |

Anyway, he's home safe and sound, but he almost wasn't. My aunt and uncle tried to talk him into staying. Apparently they NOTHING but enjoyed having him around. Well, at least now I know where to send him if he's ever in the doghouse up here - although that doesn't seem quite right. :undecided: |

I am often quite wiped out during the day if I do not get some kind of nap for some reason or another and nor for NOTHING.
Naps are not available on some days though and sometimes I go to a movie instead but have never fallen asleep in one so far. |
I can't believe we are half way through February. Another week and a half my friends that I haven't seen in over a decade are coming to visit. So excited! I'm hoping they love it so much they decide to move here since I think it would be NOTHING but perfect for them.

Glad I was able to give you guys a topic for discussion before I went off to bed last night - lol. I think it was having the hubs home that made the difference, but I slept like a baby.........

About your late night swim, that sounds like an excellent way to relax. I'll have to keep that in mind when we're in TV. Although I know we'll have to travel all the way up to your end to do it, it might be worth the trip. Quote:
About your friends - so exciting! I hope they love it too!! You'll have to keep us posted. |

Saving Private Ryan was in my Blu-Ray player much of this morning and last evening. Great movie. The assistant casting director's parents live in the Villages or did the last I looked. Talked to the father of the casting director who when Shakespeare in Love won the Oscar for Best Picture instead of Saving Private Ryan he was quite upset. Sure like that depiction of the battle Normandy and environs of June 6, 1944 through June 13, 1944 a lot better than Shakespeare in Love. I saw that Ryan movie five times when it came out and try to watch it at least once a year since. Saving Private Ryan (1998) - Rotten Tomatoes |
I have decided that when I am on the deathbed with simply NOTHING to do except to try to maintain breath, heartbeat, some brain function, and open eyelids - start on this Thread from #1 thru #12,751... but of course (hopefully) by THAT time the count will be over 6 figures.
My calc indicates that if it IS 100K posts and it would take avg 30 seconds to review each posting, I would need to allow 34.7 days for this. So, the docs would need to give me at least 3 months to live, allowing for sleep, a few visitors, tests, and other matters during that time. Time planning will be essential - but should be a simple thing with my OCD (CDO). :spoken: |

Once in a while the word puzzle that I do every day to keep my mind sharp has bad words in it - like these kinds of words :swear:. Sometimes I spell those words out of frustration because I can't figure out the last word and much to my surprise, it appears as the missing word . Other times I end up looking up the last word because I've never heard of it before.
So this morning I'm working on it and a bunch of words are coming up that remind me of NOTHING - like wily and wittily along with a few others and I thought, "how cool!" Then comes the last word which had me confounded. So I'm playing around with the letters until it finally accepts something. The last word ends up to be "titi". I'm thinking "what the heck does that mean", so I google it. Oh boy, google is no longer my friend. :ohdear: |

NOTHING going on here. I like the way that Dean FL thinks.

Titi means Spanish for NOTHING but Aunt. The Sharpened Mind like mine would have gone to the gutter too!
Ain't that a TITI, supporting someone on their new home and whammo reduce to a pile of ashes. I'm like the Phoenix though already raised from The Ashes. Get out your Decoder Ring it's gonna be a long day. |
