Had some MGM Grand showgirls in my French and other classes at the University of Nevada, Reno and often had a very hard time concentrating when they were around. And not for NOTHING.

Instead of them I often had the best student in many of my classes show up in the upper division classes. A real domineering woman from Brazil who spoke a bunch of languages and worked for AT& T. I went into shock when I found out she was living with my brother and would later become his first wife.

Very bright woman. Daughter of a diplomat from the US who lived in Brazilia.

This has been a great day of doing absolutely NOTHING. Worked a 10 hour day yesterday and have another to go tomorrow so I figured I deserved to do NOTHING in between. Hubby has spent the day testing napability on every sofa in the house. From the snoring I've been hearing from the various rooms I would be hard pressed to judge which one he likes best - lol. Hope he gets better soon though. These cold and sinus issues, not to mention the pneumonia that's been going around, have been tough to beat. NOTHING but grateful that I made it through the week unscathed. Although it didn't turn out to be such a bad work week after all. Ended up, I didn't have to go in any extra days except tomorrow and my partner doesn't want me to have to drive back up to work on Saturday so he offered to work it. NOTHING but happy about that! :a040:

That is NOTHING but very valuable research. Are you still examining the benefit of separate bedrooms?

Well, I definitely wouldn't have to be nudging him all night over the snoring, that's for sure. I keep trying to talk him into going for a sleep study. He needs a good Nucky lecture. :boxing2: But yes, for right now separate bedrooms are still on, especially because this cold/sinus thing seems to be going right to his chest. Going to the doctor might be in order but then again who am I to nag about that, right? But of course I will anyway.......

The sofa thing is funny though and kind of a long story so I won't bore you with the details. Short story is he is determined to wear these couches out before we move since I refuse to take any furniture with us. NOTHING but one of his extreme measures to make sure he gets his money's worth out of everything......:ohdear: Maybe he should recruit you to come and help. You seem to be very talented in that department yourself - lol

Uncle Junior from the Sopranos said see that couch, I've been Passing Wind into that same pillow for 20 years. I NOTHING but understand the connection to the couch but stopped the couch naps in favor of that dopey bed. I'm having a hard time cutting it loose. Mainly because I'm thinking about a small riding lawnmower and don't wanna do both to close to one another, in other words, I'm delaying any way I can think of.

I bought an industrial, commercial, heavy duty, rugged, Keurig. It's the Bomb, not jacked Up at all. The only thing is I've picked up the coffee pace considerably cause is NOTHING like torture getting a coffee. It's done Zippety Do Da! Life is good overall. Still Smiling, not laughing, not yet, we will be after Mrs. Nucky finishes her test tomorrow.

We love our Keurig. But .... my god has our coffee consumption increased. I shudder to count how much we really drink. I order boxes and boxes of K-cups online from Costco (just $5 more if you are not a member) but it is worth it to us. We love our Kirkland Pacific Bold.

Again, wishing you prayers and much luck for nothing less than a favorable result for Mrs. N.

My Dad fell hard near Bealls yesterday and split his head open. Got six stitchs and spent about 5 hours at the Villages Regional Hospital in the Emergency Room. Not a fun time and not for NOTHING. Ambulance got him outside of Bealls.

Not sure but I seemed to get a certain vibe from some people there. Been happening a lot of late. The Villages Regional Hospital and various other Villages' institutions can see my Facebook page as many of these are Sponsors.

Have been to the VRH Emergency Room a number of times and these have usually been after a fall by my Dad.

At least this one was not late in the evening.

There sure have a lot of volunteers at VRH. I may know a few nurses who work there but am not sure. One did work there but I have not heard from here for over a year. Another works across the street at Freedom Pointe.

I was checking out the nurses there though. I have to have my priorities. Some cute ones were going to the shuttle to the parking areas. I had stay by the car so that I could assist if necessary with my Dad getting into the car but a nurse did that eventually.

I had to do the Easter shopping before a storm comes in from the Gulf of Mexico. That shopping was this late Friday morning and early afternoon. Only effect really is that I have to do a lot more stuff around the house. And not for NOTHING. The Publix I go to has seen my Dad fall over twice and the assistant manager patched him up the first time and he fell right in front of a Villages Regional Hospital nurse who had her bag with her the second time. The first time at Publix a trash can got the brunt of the back of his head.

The Villages Regional Hospital nurse who helped him commutes from the Leesburg area for work.

Well I feel the pressure. There is nothing if not a big difference in each person's taste for coffee. Some love Duncan Some love Starbucks and so it goes. My brother hates the Pacific Bold so go figure. I love it but caveat emptor -- your tastes may be different. I think I ordered Donut Shop once but if I remember correctly, I didn't care for it.

Tornado on Groundhog Day 2007 did a lot of damage here in the Villages and not for NOTHING. The daughter or maybe niece of a man I know lost her life in Lady Lake when her mother's mobile home was hit with a tree. Lots of damage in some sections of Lady Lake and one Village lost some homes to that tornado.

NOTHING but no phone call today so????? I'll take it.

I love living where I am even with the possibilities that exist. I am ready to accept the challenge if something does happen and ready if the worst happens, although I certainly hope it doesn't. The weather here is rough, in a Manufactured Home or a Gigantic House. Why would so many people live here and all over Florida in Manufactured Homes or Trailers or Houses for that matter? It's because of the payoff of the good, no Great times. It's worth the trade-off. Wish I found out earlier about this joint!

Many people try to or do look down at this side of town. It's cool by me, everybody is ENTITLED to their opinion. Those of us over here know the real deal. Me personally, I would never speak in a bad way about the place that anybody lives, not my place. I don't hold it against everybody else for paying 5 to 10 times the taxes we do! That was just NOTHING but a joke. Gotta go the winds a blowing, time to watch TV! LOL

I NOTHING but forgot what the estimated time of arrival is for you and Abby?

I'm so tempted to start cutting my lawn so it's done perfectly but the summer heat and the reality of it brings me back to indecision. Plus what about the days when I just can't do it which is often. I just talked myself out of it again.

We are going broke on sprinkler heads. The lawn guys are so nice, I've approached them instead of calling their boss but six heads in the last two cuts is excessive. One more chance. They really do have a tough job but come on. NOTHING but a bargain @ $50 a month. Our lot is much bigger than most. :)

Sometimes a great job other times it looks like they were NOTHING but blindfolded while they were mowing. I'm considering rebar inside the white PVC pipe that everyone else marks their sprinklers with. I really don't want to but at least I'd find out who's running over my sprinklers. I don't want anybody to get hurt though so I'll can that idea for now. Maybe a simple Moat. Alligator Need to Apply! :1rotfl:

I've had a property like you when I was a youngster, I NOTHING but outgrew the fascination with acreage. Our kids are competing now about the biggest house/property. They haven't asked me anything about it so Mums the word, they have to find their own way. I would advise against. Tell them to spend every minute with the little ones. Not plow the fields, feed the chickens, bail the hay and sneak out to the woodshed for some whoopie. Maybe the last one. LOL

That has happened once in a while here in Lynnhaven that we have one less sprinkler head especially when they were staying in the upright position after watering. Just a few of these would do that and I would have to make sure that they were NOTHING but down before the lawn people came.

LOL

Try some of these. If they still whack the sprinklers then rebar would be in order.. https://www.amazon.com/Task-Tools-T5...s%2C235&sr=8-3

And yeah, we thought acreage was a great idea and if it wasn't for the upkeep we would remain NOTHING but happy. It's nice to be outside and not have to go inside if you need to take a leak.. :1rotfl:

We should all remember to give thanks that we are safe and sound. Let's pray that continues throughout the coming hurricane season.
