Hello Barefoot. I'm glad you commented on Spoilers post. He is NOTHING but a real jokester and we should have a joke competition between BK and Spoiler. I'm so grateful that both are on a better path now.

BK, sorry about the Concrete Mixer tip. It cost me several Lbs. also but I still fit through The Golden Arches At McDonalds! Barely! :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl: I won't tell you about where the new Bad Hot Spot Is For Verboten Vittles! :1rotfl:

My resolution for 2020 is to lose the 20 pounds that I gained back out of the 50 pounds that I lost in 2019! Thanks for nothing Nucky -- Cement Mixers Indeed!

Well maybe the steroids had something to do with the weight gain but I sure helped it along.

Spoiler so glad you are on the mend -- I understand your journey since I've been traveling along that road as well. But I continue to be in great spirits and very optimistic about 2020 and beyond.

Wishing the best for all of us.

Certainly hope you are feeling better.

Best of luck on your resolutions. I am not familiar with the “cement mixer” and sounds like it may be something that I shouldn’t really have nothing to do with...

Going to watch Nicolas Cage's Primal tonight on Blu-Ray. Not sure if it got to the Villages or not.

I like to see these recent movies and not for NOTHING. Checking the details in these Blu-Rays.

Cage has been in some really good movies. Nicolas Cage - Rotten Tomatoes Loved Con Air and Leaving Las Vegas. Both feature Las Vegas.

I have not been to Las Vegas since around 1983 when I helped my parents move from Reno, Nevada to Scottsdale, AZ and we went through Vegas.

Another trip to Vegas might be warranted at some time.

NOTHING for January 4, 2020 has 1057 as the tally for the 24 hour 8:55 AM EST cycle from Friday to Saturday.

512, 152.
511, 095.

1057.

Watching Rambo III today. Maybe some NOTHINGs will show up in it. The very first one had a lot of usages of the word NOTHING.

Watched Rambo: First Blood Part II yesterday. Had not seen it in quite some time. Not many uses of NOTHING unlike Rambo: First Blood.

Morning Saturday Peoples...

Mrs Spoiler and I are going to look at some open houses today in light of the overcast weather. We plan to have a place built but we like to see existing houses to pilfer ideas from. I promise we will take nothing except some ideas...

As we are a few months behind in our home building schedule due to the other shenanigans in our life, we are excited about the future.

If I only knew where the Nucky lived so I could buy the house aside of him just to mess with him every day... That would be fun.

Day 1 ... Loud Party
Day 2 ... Old car on blocks in the front yard
Day 3 ... Empty bottles strewn about
Day 4 ...

Goodness, the things I could think of... it truly would be nothing but fun.

Well yes, but that was always the plan.

We sold our house in NC to the first person who looked at it. Cash buyer, no appraisal, no inspection, no nothing... just wanted it.

We came right down here and bought a small place just to have a place to move into and not have to pay rent. Our plan was to find the right lot and get one built...

A month later when the closing occurred up in NC is when I found out what my sore throat really was. We decided then to slow our plan down a little bit to decide what was going to happen.

Now it appears that I may just be around long enough to pester Mrs Spoiler a few more years, so we need to get on with the larger house plan so she doesn't kill me in this smaller one.

It's amazing how fast things move sometimes. Our last house sold in three days leaving us living in an unfinished house for two weeks. Our builder's wife would often bring us dinner so we didn't have to cook on our campstove in the garage. lol

Sounds like you have NOTHING but a great plan.

You wanna know NOTHING? There are many phenomenal things about N.J. It's not all bad like I tease about all the time. There is a tie however for the #1 thing that sucks the most about N.J. it's between high property taxes and Bruce Springsteen having been born there in Long Branch. What a crumb.

His singing sounds like two Bobcats screaming in a Burlap Bag. Yuck!

Well I think I just figured out where our summer roadtrip needs to be this year....

——

Nothing, Arizona

Location in the state of Arizona
Coordinates: 34°28′47″N 113°20′7″W
Country United States
State Arizona
County Mohave
Settled 1977
Elevation 3,268 ft (996 m)
Population (2008) • Total 0
GNIS feature ID 2675317
Nothing is an uninhabited ghost town in eastern Mohave County, Arizona, United States.

History
The locals told travelers it "got named by a bunch of drunks”. Nothing has frequently been noted on lists of unusual place names.

The settlement was established in 1977 by Richard "Buddy" Kenworthy, located 100 miles (160 km) northwest of Phoenix, Arizona, and roughly 20 miles (32 km) south of Wikieup, the "rattlesnake capital of Arizona." It is west of Bagdad at milepost 148½ on U.S. Route 93 (the Joshua Forest Scenic Parkway) between Wickenburg and Kingman, on the route from Las Vegas to Phoenix.

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) installed one of four motorist call boxes on U.S. 93 at Nothing.

The town sign reads:

“Town of Nothing Arizona. Founded 1977.
Elevation 3269ft.
The staunch citizens of Nothing are full of Hope, Faith, and Believe in the work ethic.
Thru-the-years-these dedicated people had faith in Nothing, hoped for Nothing, worked at Nothing, for Nothing” ”

At its height, Nothing had a population of 4. The settlement contained a gas station and small convenience store.

Nothing was abandoned by May 2005, and by August 2008, the gas station was beginning to collapse. An attempted revival of Nothing occurred at some time after August 2008 when Nothing was purchased by Mike Jensen. By April 2009, Jensen had opened his pizza business, run from a portable oven, with hopes of reopening the mini-mart and creating accommodations for RVs.

As of April 2011, it appears that Nothing has once again been abandoned. The building has fresh boards in the windows, and no sign of inhabitance or any activity.

In 2016, Century 21 real estate ran a "Give Dad Nothing" promotion where a free 24 hour lease to a piece of property at Nothing, Arizona could be secured for June 19, 2016 (Father's Day) only. The promotion was done with the participation of the current property owner and included a downloadable "Certificate of Nothing" and gift card.

I will have to talk to my lady friend from Philly as she drove up in her car with her pooch and was letting him out a few feet from where the lady had the cat in her own golf cart.

My dog sees a wild cat in our yard and he wants to give chase. Not sure what the lady from Philly's pooch did but will find out.

Sounds like the lady with the cat lives in Lynnhaven and the large cat is only about six months old according to my friend from Philly. It is the kitten of some feral cats in the neighborhood or around here. NOTHING but interesting.

Ran into my friend from Philly this morning while out and about.

Lemme tellya a couple or three things, I had a blast yesterday watching NOTHING but both Wildcard Games. I felt bad for the young Buffalo Bills QB who was trying to make things happen at the end of the game when he was desperate. He is going to be great in the future. What a great game. He made some poor decisions but nobody is NOTHING but perfect.

We watched the second game with a great friend who has me rooting for The Patriots. I have a whole lot of friends from New England now and other than them talking funny they are such nice people who all miss shoveling snow! :1rotfl::1rotfl: They ALL have a ball making fun of my N.J. Speak. Anyway I'm sorry for all their fans but did note that maybe now they have a slight feeling of what it's like to be a N.Y. Giants/N.Y. Jets Fan.

Staying up so late didn't seem rough until I tried my normal routine today and had to go back to the rack. I didn't go to bed until after 1 AM. I have mentioned it before and will do so again. It's so much better watching any sport without having a bet riding on it. Maybe a couple of bucks with my kids but that's it. It also nice to wake up just tired and not with your head spinning from drinking. Thank You God For That Relief So Far!

We had given up totally on NFL Football for a few years for reasons anyone could guess. I don't want to Flog A Dead Animal. Glad we're back to watching though. It's the greatest. :0000000000luvmyhors
