Ouch. But getting the shingles shot is a great preventive measure as I have several family members who had it and went through a lot of suffering. And some Villages area friends too that pushed through the pain caused by shingles.

Got my 9th negative result for the Corona Virus from One Blood. This is for six platelet and two whole blood donations and not for NOTHING.

They test donors at One Blood with a temperature check at the door and then a test on the donation you give.

They started testing for the Corona Virus around May of 2020 and I can donate 24 times a year for platelets as long as I stay healthy. About to reach my 35 gallons the next donation of platelets I give.

I have been donating rather regularly since 2007 mostly at One Blood or what they were called before One Blood-- Florida Blood Center (FBC) and Florida Blood Services (FBS). FBC was in this area and elsewhere; FBS was in the Tampa Bay area and elsewhere.

I think I am older than Kenswing so I should NOTHING but be thinking about it. My birthday is 2-24-1959. I certainly have mentioned that fact to a HUGE number of people since 1989 or so.

They used birthdays as an identifier for law school grades and I would look at the sheet and see that someone with 2-24 did really well until I checked the year and saw that SHE had done quite well. She was also Class of 1989 U of MN Law but was a few years younger than I was as I had dropped out of BYU Law School in my first try and then decided to get a MA in Librarianship at the U of Denver but eventually did get back to law school. I had only been at BYU about ten days so it was easy to re-apply at other law
schools in 1986.

The other birthday 2-24 U of MN Law School grad from the Class of 1989 still seems to be doing quite well. I wonder if she watches a lot of movies?
