We do have mirrors ya know. I better shut up, there are about a thousand jokes that I can't tell right now. Shrinkage is one of them. :1rotfl:

I was figuring where not to eat tonight and looked up our resident food critics name and unless I'm mistaken it's NOTHING but gone. Another one joins the list, out to the Island of NOTHINGVILLE! :1rotfl:

Since my post was quoted in dew's response, I wanted to defend you, Nucky, but what do I know? NOTHING!

Well, I did get an hour of sleep in before my appointment but my husband denied me the pleasure of yanking the pillow out from under him by NOTHING but getting up at precisely the same time I was headed upstairs. He takes all my fun away.

I can relate to Mrs K though. I have to admit when I was working full-time I was the same way. My husband will attest to that. Not working so many days and especially not so many long days, I have lightened up a bit. It's funny though, he's never sure and still treads carefully around my sleep schedule. Old habits die hard - lol.

Mrs. K. is on her four day stretch. They have her starting at 4:30 right now which means she gets up at 3:00. There's NOTHING short of a fire in the house that would make me disturb her sleep.. lol

As for me. I'm done for the day and prepared to do NOTHING.

I get that! Working those kind of hours you basically work, eat, sleep and repeat. No time for much else. And that 5th day even, I know I'd be dragging.

So let's revisit your last Costco post. Once you guys get down to TV for your visit and start making more definitive plans for a time frame to move, unless you're planning to haul a lot of stuff across the country, that's when you'll really start thinking about buying any new stuff or not. Christmas stuff was always a draw for me too, but these last 5 years I've been making do and even giving a lot of it away. Right now we're in conundrum about a buying a new mattress. That has been part of our bed hogging predicament. We're used to a king and since that mattress has been killing our backs, we've been trying to sleep on a queen in the guest bedroom that has a wonderful tempurpedic mattress. Now I don't mind putting good money into a mattress but I'm not hauling a king size one to TV. I doubt we'll even take the queen down with us. I really want to buy a new king but what to do? NOTHING but a first world problem for sure. But my point is everything we buy now goes through that check point about moving it or not, buy it or not, and if we must purchase something like this mattress for example, how much are we willing to spend since we're most likely going to sacrifice it in a couple of years from now.

I'm right there with you.. Everytime we go to buy a big ticket item I say, "Remember, we're moving in 5 years". lol

I wish we could move and take NOTHING with us but I'm sure we'll still have a truckload of stuff. I hope to get rid of most of our furniture though. It'll be tough not bringing all my tools with me but I know I probably won't need half the stuff I have. I mean I have 7 ladders for goodness sakes.. :1rotfl:

You sure have had NOTHING but trouble with your connection. I hate to see you having to spend your time down there dealing with crap like that. Hope this new fix does the trick and you're back in business with no further issues.

My husband is the one who deals with all that stuff in this household. I don't have the wherewithal nor the patience for it. Last night I was out running errands and I called him on his cell phone but he didn't answer. When I got home I asked him what was up with that. He said the phone never rang. So he checked and sure enough the call showed up but the phone never rang. Since I was complaining about this happening before with his phone, he called the cell phone company and told them they were getting him in trouble with his wife. LOL. Knowing him the way I do, I'm surprised he didn't talk them into a discount on our next bill. I never saw someone have so much fun with customer service reps as he does. They're chatting and laughing with him :blahblahblah::blahblahblah::blahblahblah: It's like a game to him and by the time the call is over it's like he made a new friend. He's a piece of work......

It's funny you say that. When my husband's cousin and his wife moved down they took absolutely NOTHING, barely even any clothes, but they rented a U-haul just to take all of his tools. They made sure they got the biggest garage they could get at the time because he wasn't going to sacrifice his man cave time just because they were moving to TV. I used to tease him that when his father lived with them he should have gotten a recliner for the garage for his dad to sit in and they could pretend they were Sanford and Son.

My husband is having the same issue about tools and stuff like that because he enjoys doing so much himself. I told him maybe that's a good reason why we're doing the split thing for awhile. It will give him time to decide what he really needs and what he doesn't. Me, I could go with the clothes on my back and just start over. Maybe some family pictures but that's about it - the irreplaceable stuff.

Hahaha :p. Which is why he complained to them that THEY were causing marital problems. Now that's NOTHING but funny.

She's going to have a lot of NOTHING to catch up on. We covered a good bit of territory the last couple of days.

So, Nucky, I have a question for you. This is in case I have a friend that I may need to take out to dinner sometime down the road. I doubt it will happen, but just in case, do you know any restaurants down there that serve NOTHING but chicken?
