ETD has been delayed so I have a little extra time to do NOTHING. Hubby decided to run to the gym and get in a work-out before we leave. Doesn't he realize that carrying all my luggage down the stairs and out to the car is a work-out in and of itself?

In the meantime, work won't leave me alone - texts, voicemail, emails - I think it's time to shut down the electronics and pretend I have no service where I'm going. Besides, did they forget I'm NOTHING but a part-timer?

We had over 3,100 lightning strikes on Tuesday night. So far they have dispatched to over 300 fires. Fortunately, Initial Attack has been able to handle most of these. Unfortunately, there are at least 7 that made to large fire status (300 acres in grass or 100 acres in timber). I'm pretty far down on the dispatch list this year so hopefully they'll get them taken care of before they get that far down the list. lol This is my last 3 year contract then I am NOTHING but done..

You certainly are a gutsy guy there Mr. Dew. What a thoughtful way to start a thread. You almost have a way of defusing the inevitable. You are making me behave cause I definitely have some strong feelings. NOTHING isn't the place to discuss them though.
