I hope you NOTHING but have a quiet fire season up there in Washington State.

I have only been up there twice. A week or so with my grandmother when we were visiting with my double cousin and his wife in Bellingham, WA and a few years before that on Amtrak. These were both around the 1988-1992 period.

When do the festivities begin?

They already have. We've had lots of small fires but only one big enough for an extended attack/dispatch so far.

We had a very wet spring so the grasses on the east side of the state where most of our fires are is very tall. One lightning storm and we'll be in for NOTHING but trouble. Temps over there now are in the high 90's touching 100 once in awhile.
