I know I should have stuck up for myself right then at the store but had been addled by the less than ten cents in the Green Dot account and my hurry to get something into it. And I did not realize what had happened until I was on my way home. And I realized it was my word against hers right then. Was there extra money in their Friday take? Does a store video camera cover the cash register? How about whether I had 5 $50s when I handed over the money to the cashier?
