Congratulations to Michelle Wu who officially became Mayor of my wonderful city of Boston yesterday. The first woman, person of color and also the youngest , she’s Harvard educated , a mother and won with more votes then the last 2 popular mayors ever received,You go girl , your more then nothing

I have a lot of Boston connections through my Harvard educated (MA in Education) aunt and a lot of Villagers I have met come from that area and/or Cape Cod. For instance, I met a man who was a Psychiatric Social Worker who I believe was from that area when he would come to the dog park. He would often feud with a lady from the Baltimore/D.C. area who also came to the dog park. These would often be about the Patriots and the Ravens. And not for NOTHING.

Another guy from Cape Cod had a daughter who was involved with the Tom Hanks' movie Saving Private Ryan. She was in the production/casting area.

Born in the south end before gentrification lol moved on up to the west end which they tore down and they did the right thing. Then to the North End and now own a condo in the up scale south end lol which in a few years from now 85 or 86 I’ll go home to live permanent 82 now . A long time Florida but had no plans to ever spend the last years here , I want bustling streets and lots of younger people around

NOTHING but nice to hear. I was born in Milwaukee but have not been back there since 1991 and that was just passing through on Amtrak on the way to Chicago and then New Orleans. We have some people from Green Bay who used to visit rather often. They wintered here in the Villages.

My aunt left the Chicago area for Boston and Cape Cod and never looked back except for family re-unions in Chicagoland and trips to wherever we happened to be like Reno, Nevada; Scottsdale, AZ; Rohnert Park, CA; Palm Harbor, FL and then to the Villages, FL.
