NOTHING like a good dog. Our last one was the best and she was a rescue. It has been several years now since she passed and I still miss her. I'm not sure if we will get another at this point or not. One funny thing that I remember about her - although she loved all of us (our son was only in the 2nd grade when we got her), whenever my husband and I got into an argument, she would come over to wherever I was and stay close to me as if she was making the point as to who's side she was on. We always got a kick out of that. Yeah, it was great having another female in the house for a change - haha!

That was Nothing but one Smart Pup. She was protecting the Food Machine. You. Same thing here, Barney protected Mrs. Nucky. He was in Love with her.

In due time, I hope you get your new pup and that he/she is NOTHING but as good as your beloved Barney - never the same, of course, but equally as special. Then when I move down there, I will get my dog fix by dog sitting for you and W.
