What is the problem with concealed carry? Has there been a lot of instances in the Villages where concealed permit holders have acted in NOTHING but a lawful manner?

I own a 20 & 12 gauge, 30-30 Marlin and a .22 professional target. I like the sport, I don’t like living amongst people who think they live in Carson City circa 1883. NOTHING is more disturbing than this.

Not that I know of. Unless I KNEW I was under a threat of bodily harm would I carry. It’s the “mentality” that’s NOTHING but disturbing.

Well if people are truly carrying concealed you should never even know it. NOTHING to worry about.. If people were open carrying that would be more like the Wild West.

Other than lobbying to change the law the only other solution is to move to a state that doesn't issue CCW's. Then you would only have to worry about the criminals who are carrying concealed.

But I'm sure if there were problems about how Villagers were carrying it would be all over the news.

Good point, yet I still find the “need” to conceal carry is in my opinion the sign of an unstable and paranoid personality. NOTHING logical about that line of thought.

Of course I don't have the need to always carry. But I also don't hesitate to if I'm going into an area that I deem outside my comfort level of personal security. And before you say to stay out of those areas, my job often takes me to areas that are NOTHING but sketchy.

A significant number of those who carry, have ridiculous fantasies about being NOTHING but the 'hero'...and saving the day with their gun.


When the odds are, that their gun is more likely to harm themselves...or some other innocents.
