I just remembered a Nothing story 20 years old about a traffic circle.

I'm from south jersey and there are circles. One day at lunch in the faculty room we were discussing the rules of the road and our circle strategy. We were shocked to hear that Pete, the head football coach and the guy you could always go to when you needed a logical answer said he doesn't look either way when entering a circle. It's a little like playing chicken. He said people just back off every time. That's not me but I thought I would give it a try. So the next morning I just headed into the circle not looking left or right and then in my peripheral vision I backed off at the last minute because another PU was barreling in and knew I'd get clipped. I safely exited the circle and the driver who almost clipped me was Pete.

At lunch that day he said he never saw me. For Pete's sake and my own I never did that again.

Well this was a bonus Nothing story. What do you have in your frig and/or pantry and I'll come up with a recipe.

Well, why you guys sort out your recipe dilemma I'm going to tell you a NOTHING weather story. Last night I mentioned a downpour. This morning, got up to meet a friend for breakfast and it was wet, humid, and overcast. As soon as I got home the sun came out. Thought about taking a walk but decided to take a nap (yeah, I needed one after being up half the night). Kept hearing what sounded like thunder in the distance off and on for some time, sun still shining. Woke up 45 minutes later to the room as dark as if it was closing in on nighttime. Got up, came downstairs to the sound of my phone blaring warnings about flash flooding in the area. Then the downpour and I mean downpour. Now the sun is out bright as can be and as I sit in my dining room looking out the window the steam arising from the deck outside is unbelievable.

Uh-oh, now I'm hearing thunder in the distance again?? NOTHING but crazy up here.

So how's the weather down there today?

They are calling for 6 inches of snow but so far, nothing. Wait a minute. I entered the wrong zip code.
It looks like hot and sticky.

I hope she is not emptying her pantry and refrigerator and when there is nothing left writing it all down. This could be the longest recipe I ever wrote.

Actually we did the train ride from Tavares to Mt Dora and had a lovely lunch. We just got back. As far as my pantry I pretty much have NOTHING and need to go to the market so why don't you just give us your favorite recipe and I will buy what I need. I already love the Wonton recipe and the one for Moussaka.

Don't even joke about it I doubt that there is anyone out there that NOTHING but hates snow as much as I do.

That's nothing to joke about. I hate zip codes---I forgot ours and started with 0000, 0001, 0002

There is next to nothing in my house too but I do have frozen mussels. Did I do that recipe before?

Back to dark skies, thunder, and now rain again. I could go on like this all day. Feels like NOTHING but a roller coaster ride of changing weather patterns by the hour. And now some lightening to brighten things up.......fun.....until the electric goes out.

Wish I could shift this over to the west coast. Minus the lightning, of course.

Yes I would like those but my husband would rather eat NOTHING. What is your absolute favorite thing to make?
