Good morning.

I’m certainly not a volunteer. lol In Washington and Oregon I’d say about 70% of the personnel and equipment is provided by private contractors. We just don’t have the huge pool of government equipment to pull from like California. It’s actually more cost effective this way. The government doesn’t have to buy, staff, store or maintain any of these resources. If there’s no fires it costs them NOTHING to have us on standby. They only pay us when they use us.

Have fun at Disney, fw.

Hope you were cramp free Nuckles.

Don’t work too hard today Abigail.

See you guys tonight.

here's a nothing story that is not really funny, just a good memory
When I was in the summer of 8th grade my Friday nights were often spent watching a movie on TV with my mother and brother. She would give me money to go to the liquor store to buy a bag of chips and chocolate cream soda. One night I noticed they had "twofers" by the cash register For Broadway Shows. It's hard to believe but my brother and I could go to a Broadway show for less then $10 for the both of us on Wednesday matinees. They were spectacular. We knew we were experiencing something that was way beyond our imagination and this would not last long for us. My brother is 7 years younger then I am and my mother thought that was a great way for us to spend time. She was overprotective by 1960's standards. Yet she had no problem with us taking a bus and walking to the Theater even when that meant walking up 42nd street which had quite a reputation. I'm trying to remember the names of the shows we saw or find a list to refresh my memory---but nothing.

When I spend times with my sibs, we often share old memories. Most of the time we laugh so hard we feel like our sides will split, but sometimes we cry. No matter what, when we spend time doing that it feels like NOTHING is ever wasted. And it definitely keeps the bond among us strong.

So exhausted but had a wonderful day. Disney is magical, there is NOTHING like it. It was a great day to go, hot but not unbearable and 20 to 30 minute waits without the fast pass. I think it will be an early night tonight!

So delighted you took the time to check in. Glad you had a good day. You will most definitely be excused from any late night NOTHING. After all, you have to rest up for tomorrow!

So what's next on the agenda?

Glad you enjoyed your day Mrs. FW. Your grandson is thinking my Grandma is Magical.

Cracked window charge in Florida is Zero. Safelite does it at the house. No reason to flip out. Stay calm my sweet Little Princess. Mrs. Nucky is now calm. We are still in a stupor. Maybe back to normal tomorrow. . Ten years ago N.J. to Miami straight thru and ready to go. Time marches on thank God. Nothing from Nothing is Nothing.

I'm hoping to not forget any NOTHING'S now that I am on an adult size, human-computer instead of ipads, iPhones & other junk.

Glad you posted before I head back to the rack. Please, tell the boss I said Goodnight and hope he's hanging in there.

Will do, Nucky. I was actually thinking of going to bed early myself tonight, but looks like I'd better stay up or the boss will end up coming back to NOTHING but NOTHING.....lol
