Tom someone is selling a Parrot oil painting. Isn't that NOTHING but a clever parrot? Or do you think the painting was done with parrot oil?

All of us NOTHINGS being in TV together someday is all that really matters. Somehow I think I may be able to get a meal out of K anyway, no matter what the NOTHING. If not, the least I will have is NOTHING - not so bad.

I'm so proud of myself, I actually got this NOTHING play on words. Isn't it nice when you all don't have to put the pieces together for me? lol

Although, I'm wondering - or is it just an oil painting of a parrot? Maybe I should take a look for myself...........

Yep, NOTHING but an oil painting of THREE parrots - almost missed that little one in the background. And only $10.00 for 3 parrots - WOW!

A misplaced modifier? Nothing is clear to me.

NOTHING but a bargain. I don't have anymore wall space since they are all covered with firefighter memorabilia. My decor is firefighting no room for parrots.

I'm a little late in the game. That's funny and reminds me of a nothing experience. From the age of 6 I have been told by every nun who graded my penmanship that it looks like "chicken scratch." We didn't own a chicken but I always assumed it was not a complement since they were never smiling while pointing that out. So if the good Sisters said a chicken can write, albeit not very well then why can't a parrot paint?

Honestly I'm still recovering from the idea of you and your brother on 42nd St alone. NOTHING but very different times.

As for your penmanship I think she was suggesting maybe you could have been a doctor.

I see NOTHING wrong with that conclusion.

Speaking of chicken scratch, I never got accused of that. In fact, even today people still ask me if I went to Catholic school because of my handwriting. I didn't, and my handwriting is not as good as it used to be, but I think it was the result of being a very focused student. I wanted to be good at everything but probably ended up not so much at anything. I do know one thing though, that mindset kept me out of a lot of trouble and probably from having some fun too. I guess I make up for all that now by being NOTHING but trouble.....lol

I flunked Palmer Method every single year and totally excelled in Chicken scratch. I never had much patience and only did well in the subjects that interested me. Thankfully they also paid well or I might now have NOTHING but a hut.

I'm left handed and so the side of my hand rubs over what I wrote. I can't remember what grade we left pencils behind except for math and started using fountain pens, my worst nemesis, my undoing. It wasn't until I started typing that people suspected I may not necessarily be a slow learner. Nothing stands in the way of writing a well constructed paragraph then when you can't make out the words.
One of the many downsides of going to Catholic school was that everything you handed in, all your homework had to include your full proper name on the left side top line, the full day and date on the right side, the name of the school on the second line, Immaculate Conception School, your grade on the right side, underneath that centered was the subject. It didn't hurt to put a JMJ on the very top of every page too. In our minds the nun was thinking "Is this exactly the right answer? ---well he does have a JMJ on the page so I'll just give it to him."

Very clever. I was right handed so had no excuse except always rushing to get it done and move on to more NOTHING.
