I think somebody is NOTHING but out cruising around in his new ride.

My dad was an early adopter and loved his gadgets and gizmos. He bought Barney a flea and tick gizmo that looked like a microphone about the size of a quarter in diameter attached to his collar. One day my Aunt Patty visits, we're alone, with Barney and she asks me what it was. I told her that Barney is older and the vet said he needed this hearing aid. When you talk to Barney you need to talk louder and try to speak facing the hearing aid. So now she is leaning way forward and practically yelling, "Poor Barney, I am sorry to hear about your hearing problems." And that's when my father walks and asks Aunt Patty why she is talking so loud. I couldn't stop laughing. My mother, her sister loved that story and I repeated it whenever the family got together. Aunt Patty loved it too. Upon reflection, for the very first time, I wonder if my Aunt was putting me on just to give me a good story.
Mr. tomwed you are a real pip. Other than the cooking thing which I get NOTHING but a kick out of you think just like me. The Barney thing is surely something I wish I thought of. Don't ever leave us tomwed, we are all bright spots in one way or another but you are really SOMETHING ELSE. Just in case you couldn't hear NOTHING! You're the man.

We are NOTHING but recovering from the whole investigatory thing. I'm impressed that something so inexpensive rides so beautifully and I should have not been so hard headed about sticking with Ford my whole life as my primary vehicle. Time will tell but I think its a winner. Mrs. Nucky is afraid to drive it. We still have the Van for another month. Life is GOOD.

Still laughing about Barney with the hearing aid. What a gag.

Why do you ask? Do you have something special planned that we won't want to miss?

Actually reading the other posts right before mine seems to show we're all pretty good at doing something with our NOTHING lights on. Is that against the rules? That may be a question for another brother.
Pretty much NOTHING..

Is it lying when we are just protecting the fragile male ego? I see NOTHING wrong with being kind.

Looks like I'm not the only one up in the middle of the night. Oh, that's right it's only 11pm your time, K. Anyway, nice hit and run you put on the NOTHING women earlier tonight. Fw always has the best comeback though.

Well, I didn't exercise today and here I am - can't sleep and my RLS is acting up so I'm just going to say it now -

It's Friday, September 14th - at least on the east coast.......

Whoops, I was wrong, no other NOTHINGS up but me.

That is NOTHING but weird. If it had magnesium in it like Maalox or Mylanta I could understand it, but Tums is just calcium carbonate. Hey, whatever works besides drugs is great in my book. I have a prescription I have to use once in a blue moon. And what I mean by that is the Rx is 3 years old, that's how often I take it. My son eats a handful of almonds before bedtime at night and he says that helps his RLS. It runs in my family big time - mom, me, sister, brother, son, and at least one of my nephews all have it. I'm just thankful I don't have it that bad. Some people really suffer.
