Posting on here slowed down early in the day yesterday but view count sure didn't. We are missing one NOTHING though - hey Tal, hope everything is okay. And of course we need to keep BK in our prayers over these next few days, that she gets good results from her testing and that she finds peace while she waits.

After yesterday's somewhat negative posting about the NOTHING thread, we should remind folks that ANYONE is welcome here. You don't have to be a regular if you don't want, we enjoy very much our guest posters as well. It's always a pleasant surprise when they stop by. What we won't tolerate though is meanness or someone coming on here for the sole purpose of throwing out bait to attempt to harm or demean another person on NOTHING. This is a friendly place where controversy, if not virtually nonexistent, is at least kept in check.

And one last thing.........Baby, it's raining outside........big time!

The negative post is from someone that does not understand that NOTHING is an escape from all the meanness in the other threads. Some people stop posting and some join NOTHING.

1) Personal Attacks - Pretty Much Stopped

2) Shot's at Fenney or any Village, Your talking about someones
home.

3) Shots at any particular Thread. Bring back the Political Thread so
the Venom can be spread over there. It's OK to bring it back

I do not like controversy and try very hard to stay away from posts that look like they are going in that direction. Sadly sometimes I get sucked in and then NOTHING but regret it. I have a growing list of people I just know I should not even respond to because of unpleasant past experience.

It would need very heavy MODERATION if they bring back the TOTV Political Forum. Or make it so that everyone can see who posts what on there. No anonymity at all and not for NOTHING. And hold posters accountable if they start cyber bullying based on personal feuds.

Most likely we will not consider buying another house until we are here for a year or so. It just came to our attention yesterday that our place may be vacant by the middle of next year. If so, that would propel us to consider a move next year. We will most likely still have our house up north but have one other option to consider, as presented to us by someone we ran into down here, for a possible sale. If that doesn't work we may consider just giving in to renting it out after checking with multiple sources as to the legality and financial consequences vs gains to do so.

In other words we have NOTHING but a lot of legwork to do yet, but we are more hopeful of a resolution than when we first came down for our visit. Bottom line is you still have a chance to win the bet until we gain residency. Either way I'm going to make sure we both win, but that's going to be my surprise............

I’m glad that the Big Picture looks NOTHING but brighter. I think your going to need a vacation to get over your vacation. I can just feel that good things are about to happen to good people. Medically, Real Estate wise and life in general.
