I totally respect immensely the decision to not go thru the pain again, I can dig it. I was thinking the same way. I had a friend tell me one day what a waste it was for somebody who loves them the way we do to not take a chance. I thought about it and planted the seed for my wife to see it the way I did. It took more than 6 months and it was a go then a no go and back and forth several times.

It's because it was meant to be that this dog was meant to be with us. Someone let him out of their car and drove away. This is not possible in my little world. Must be a really desperate person who did this. I had a German Sheppard or a CFRANE dog in mind, not something so little.

Anyway, I went today for visitation and the entire section of CellBlock 8 was howling to beat the band until Eight saw his new Daddy and not one peep outta him the rest of the time I was with him. The others didn't stop with the sideshow!

Man I'm so happy now I have no words for this feeling, maybe this is pure JOY, I dunno. NOTHING could be Betterererer!

I'm gonna go get Eight a new Posturpedic bed and a Baby Carriage and teach him how to save chairs at the square, NOT! Just the bed! EIGHT .
NOTHING but awesome news! I do understand people who do not want to go through the pain again but I like to think about the pup who needs a good home. I can't save all the dogs but I can save one and when he passes I can remember that I gave him a loving home for his lifetime.

So many peoples on the TOTV'S have led the way for me. Barney, the one who checked out was half of the set of Barney & Betty. I bought them without even thinking about a rescue or I would have done it ten years ago. I just didn't know or think it through.

Many stories over the years about people rescuing dogs on my favorite place to B.S. I know better now, shame on me if I didn't go this route. I'm not judging anyone else either. If they want a puppy or a dog from the store its none of my business. But they have tons of cutie pies at the ASPCA. Lake, Sumter, Marion all just great places. NOTHING but love for what they do for all these critters.

I almost just Goofified Up. That would be NOTHING but Jacked Up Grandma just like your Toenail's.

I'm not going to congratulate you until the little guy is totally moved in! Until then, I am waiting with nothing but bated breath for you and Mrs. N. Hope you don't have to wait too long.

Oh how cute. Yes it hurts terribly to lose them -- we just recently went through this. But the unconditional love they give when they are with us is so worth the eventual pain, for me, anyway. You know the old "Better to have loved . . .

We only have to pick out the best name we would have but NOTHING no way would have thought of on our own! It's one that was previously used and is a sweet rememberance of our old home and several friends had the name. It was used by NOTHING but a good friend and we hope it can be passed down to us. Time will tell. It's not Vito or Rocco! But its in the Neighborhood!

Could it be Carmine? Like Carmine, “The Big Ragoo,” on Laverne and Shirley?

Just in case, I have spent the last 15 minutes doing nothing but trying to find the meaning of the name Carmine.

Should be easy. Right?

But I keep finding different meanings for the name:

— Of song

— Of the garden

— Of the vineyard

— Of the orchard

— A deep red color

(Lots of different meanings for Carmine but all good ones.)

Anyway, Nucky, a dog by any name will be a joy to you and yours. I will be tuning in to the Nothing thread and wishing you the best.

For some nothing reason, I don't picture Nucky with a Coco

Bacciagalupe: Italian slang for a pompous greaseball guido. Used to describe a stereotypical sleezeball Staten Islander.

Seriously, I did not make up this derogatory definition:

Urban Dictionary: Bacciagalupe

I nothing but hate it!

Nucky -- the right name is out there -- and it will be PERFECTO!

I can NOTHING but see him calling out that name at the dog park

I think he could call him Munch. I know...I don't know where I come up with them either.
