I'm with you on this. However my DH loves soccer and, unfortunately, the international community seems to have games all the time, morning noon and night so there is no reprieve. Fortunately he camps out in the guest bedroom so that it doesn't interfere with anything I may want to watch in the Living Room LOL.

We don't do sports of any kind not even golf or pickleball. Life is NOTHING but blissful in my household. Unfortunately most of my friends and family are Patriots fans so I am going to have to endure the endless FB posts.

Me too. All sports. I admit I am probably genetically flawed and don't have the proper amount of testosterone along with my estrogen.

I just do not see why everyone gets all het up.

I would rather do nothing than watch sports. Except for Golf. That's different. The veins on people's necks don't stand out when they watch golf.

It is nothing but 33 degrees in The Villages right now. Brrr -- Even though we are from NY, I have gotten so used to the glorious Florida temps that this is a shock to my system. When I say I am cold, DH, bless his heart, invariably says, "It's not cold, it's Florida!"

Well at least it's not snow! 14" of the white stuff up north and wind chill factor feels like minus 9 degrees!

I'm with you this time. They are using minus numbers where I came from and didn't get as much snow as they expected but got ice instead. NOTHING but a nasty place to be.

After not watching any Football since we NOTHING but moved here it was nice to spend the entire day watching yesterday. It didn't come out exactly the way we wanted but it sure was exciting. Some of the rule changes are sorta funny to me.

I do not like the Replay Option in Football & Baseball that they have now.

All we can hope for is a Competitive Super Bowl Game. I would not like to see such a great player as Tom Brady go home in tears on his last game! Just Kidding but I got a kick outta seeing Bill Belichick throwing his paperwork when the Chiefs scored. Priceless.

Good morning, everyone! I've got to quit keeping these late hours. Watching football seems to get me all riled up. Then there was the eclipse last night. Can't say what I saw with the naked eye was all that great, but at least we could see it happening and did catch some of the red hue. But the big event of the day was the 2 hour nap I got in. That was NOTHING but great!

Today is Monday, January 21st. I thought I was going to end my last year at work by taking hardly anytime off. Well that plan seems to be rapidly changing. I'm going to have to see how I can work this one out.......
