Just took a ride down to the Brownwood area and just wondered around for a bit. The weather is a little rough but this place is still amazing. We saw three people golfing on one of the bigger courses down that way. Talk about NOTHING but dedication. Wowie!

Trying to get into the Pro Bowl but not really feeling it. Maybe Ocean's 8. Sounds like a winner.

Never could get enthused about the Pro Bowl.. The game pretty much means NOTHING and everyone (rightly so) is just trying not to get injured..

My organizing efforts have included nothing less than watching a whole bunch of youtube videos on organizing, a trip to Dollar Tree to pick up some helpful organizing things and pouring another cup of coffee. Sigh. I am an expert at avoidance -- as in avoiding the job of whittling my slacks, capris, sweat pants etc. into a manageable few pair. Does anyone else have several pairs in every size they have ever fit into? I am now going to box them up -- too large and too small. The rest will be sorted by "I feel good in them" or "I feel like a cow". The "cow" pants will be donated or discarded.

I also watched a bunch of videos by Marie Kando (konmari method), the Japanese woman who folds her clothes into cute little packets that stand up on their own. I am going to try her method today and refold everything in every drawer --but keep only those items that "bring joy", according to Marie.

My organizational skills consists of NOTHING more than taking my clothes out of the dryer and throwing them on the bed in the spare bedroom. I use them as I need them then repeat the cycle. Once in awhile Mrs. K. will get tired of it and fold everything and put them away.. lol

NOTHING doing, short's and a Hoody. I found out I actually do own two pairs of long pants. This is not what I ever expected but better than the Old Home For Sure.

The pool two days ago was on a dare. Never again. Getting out is too much to face.

I start something, walk into another room, start something else, and continue this process until NOTHING gets done. I think I have a little ADHD problem. Trying to stay focused for me is a major undertaking.

My night wasn't so bad, but up way too early. I really should be getting more rest. Woke up with 10,000 things going through my mind, so stripped a bed, threw the sheets in the washer, emptied the dishwasher, and now sitting down with my first cup of coffee.

Feeling better - just some residual congestion but knocked out the sore, scratchy throat with Cold-Eeze (zinc lozenges). That stuff is the bomb if you catch cold symptoms early on. Works almost every time for me - maybe I just have a zinc deficiency.

Anyway, it's going to be NOTHING but a crazy week as I expected, from beginning to end. I'll try to at least check in each morning. But for now, it's Monday, January 28th. Here's hoping you all have a great day!

I nothing but understand. As much as I love it here, I am in pain almost everytime it rains -- and it sure does rain a lot down here! Yes, I prefer it to no snow, but oh my back. Just took 2 Doan's pills and have a pain patch at the ready in case I need it. LOL -- getting old sucks but it does beat the alternative!

Good morning Abby,

I will have to try the Cold-Eeze. My go-to has always been Alka Seltzer Plus but always willing to try new things. Wishing you nothing less than a great day.

Sorry to hear both you and Nucky have to go through that. I have some minor issues with weather changes but NOTHING like you guys. Rain, rain, go away........

I remember singing that song with my grandmother. Good memories.

Hope you both feel better soon!
