Thanks, FW. A simple refill of a boring one from us is turning into a story. NOTHING but disappointed as I admittedly am comparing to where I did live. It's not really fair to these people down here but when the pharmacist's assistants come up to you having an anxiety attack because they are getting handled roughly by everyone something is wrong and I don't want any part of it. I don't want to argue or straighten them out I just wanna put in an order and pick it up. I'm gonna switch my stuff over.

The best thing is the one on Parr is close to Culvers! Ah, Heaven! A Mixer, yum. Thanks for the helping hand.

I'm not sure what kind of bull you mean or even the story on every refill? Do you mean they are nothing but questioning your prescription? Or socializing kind of stories?

We've never had any problems with the pharmacy at Publix. Used it for lots of prescriptions up until a couple of months ago. We were never questioned about anything.

We now use the mail-order coverage through DH's union.

The story is that you get text messages that your goodies are ready and show up for NOTHING but a story. Script not ready. The dog ate the Script. We are forgiving sort of people but this is at least the fifth time the same type of thing has happened. When you have to suffer through a Golf Cart Ride and then Suffer through going to Dunkin Donuts for NOTHING it gets old after a while. They are just to busy I think.

We were doing great with Publix but there is one big problemo, there are not any of them in N.J. We went back to Walgreens for that reason. These are for Simple Prescriptions, not the ones that are classified as rough or whatever you call them, the ones that get your picture in the paper.

That Mail Order thing is interesting also. Good thinking. I'm gonna try Parr first and if that is a problem then Mail Order.

I know the stores are hammered with customers but they also shoot themselves in the foot often because of being overworked. Wish I could go to a nice pharmacy up north but it wouldn't work out. Too far in the Golf Cart.
We use Costco. But evidently they want NOTHING to do with The Villages at this time..

So here we NOTHING go again. Told yesterday to be at Walgreens at 10 AM this morning. I was told text would not be sent. I got a text at 10.03 AM today that the order is ready. Albuterol, no biggy. I get to the store and I get it too soon for a refill from a different pharmacist than the one I spoke to last night. Anywho, in the end, I prevailed and got an apology from the store manager with the explanation that two long term Pharmacists with over 25 years each had departed the company. One retired and I don't remember what the story was with the other one. I showed them the Email and Text saying its ready. I just this second got another text telling me to pick up my prescription. Great people but in transition I guess. I'm inclined to give them a break but I'm going to the Parr Store for now.

Need a little Pool Therapy. What a shame the kids at home are bracing for a nasty snow storm. I feel NOTHING but guilty. NOT!

Where is Waldo? I Dunno. Probably busy. Could move on down here and name your price. I know a place that's desperately looking for a special person or team.

Minneapolis is getting NOTHING but an all time record amount of snow. I remember ten foot mounds of snow some winters that did not melt until March or so. Or later.

I understand FW. I just got off the phone with my best friend in N.J. and he got some bad news today about a Cancer issue that he has been dealing with since about a month after he retired from a Township Job that he worked at for over 40 years. We are not officially brothers but he is even better than a brother. He said when he gets to NOTHING but where he thinks he's gonna end up that he was going to send me a message or sign that he was ok. I told him that I don't think the message or sign could make it through the heat from where he is going to end up. We love to laugh. It's not morbid it's appropriate.

I have no problems, I'm sorta ashamed about talking about problems picking up a simple prescription. This is a real problem. But what a lesson this guy has taught so many of us. He accepted his lot in life for the day. He did NOTHING but everything he could do to help himself and together throughout the entire ordeal his faith is unshakable. I offered to go up and help him as best as we can but he strongly declined. I met him 25 years ago at a Club I belong to. One of the luckiest days of my life ending up with a friend and brother like him. Life can change in a minute, someone I admire just told me that a short time ago.

So sorry to hear this Nucky. I think it is great that he has his faith to help him through it. Bad stuff happens and we can accept it or not but the outcome is NOTHING but the same.
