Stupid family joke, It's so cold out today that I saw a Rabbit wearing earmuffs. Even the youngest grandson can tell the joke. N.J. about half a foot in the last week. We saw pictures of them building a snowman and for the first time I responded with a picture from the summer here when the tan was great and bleeding hot outside and we were begging for our next breath. We were in the pool.

Some of our closest friends are in Chicago and I spoke with them yesterday and they said it was minus 25 with the wind chill. Considering that weather maybe we never had it that bad in N.J.

I'm out on the other thread. I was in the business my entire life and just see construction things different than others. If I argue any further it may give others ideas and I don't wanna contribute to giving anyone more of an idea to do something bad. Not important to WIN because thats not possible anyway.

Yupper, I think I could stand on my head and spit NOTHING but Chicklets and someone would come up with the counterpoint. Why not prevent a problem instead of fixing it after someone suffers or perishes? I just don't know. But the other person view is the reason for the Forum.

I do know one thing. It sure is nice to have friends of the internet type. This is a first for me and I like it. I was lucky to experience The Three Word Sentence Phenomena. It also was criticized by some for various reasons but such a simple thing as NOTHING is

NOTHING but WONDERFUL.

Maybe we should make NOTHING into Three Word Sentences!

Volunteers with resident lifestyle groups donated 224,100 hours of their time in 2018, an increase of almost 20,000 hours from 2017, The Villages Recreation and Parks Department reported. To put that in perspective: 20,000 hours is the equivalent of 833 days. And the total number of hours donated last year equals the total number of hours in 25.6 years. Yet as staggering as those numbers are, they undoubtedly don’t capture the entirety of the community’s volunteer effort because many Villages groups hold additional fundraising and volunteer activities beyond the meetings the recreation department tracks.

I have not run into any other people who say they came from Nevada to the Villages. Have run into a number of people who were either born in Nevada or worked somewhere in Nevada and lots of people who visited Nevada. Usually Las Vegas and not Reno, though. NOTHING added; NOTHING gained.

Georgia has 915 Villages households.

Louisiana-- 95.

Maine-- 529.

Nebraska-- 68.

Nevada-- 93.
