Yes it is amazing how we worry so much about these things and then finally they are just over and not nearly as bad as we had worried about. I went through NOTHING but the same thing when I had my gallbladder out begging for them to give me drugs to knock me out and the next day I was just fine.

I like Fava Beans more than Chianti! Silence of the Lambs- "Fava Beans and a Nice Chianti"- Hannibal (1080p HD Clip) - YouTube Some scary movie. Lights on and closet door open that night! Whoa! My son just went to Rent His golf Cart and ended up paying NOTHING because of being Active Service. Doesn't get better than that. The Villages Golf ![]() |

Well of course...if you don't get back from a trip exhausted with your suitcases bulging you haven't done it right. So glad you are having NOTHING but a great time. Now I have the cruising bug.

I know a couple who moved here from Hawaii. The wife moved to be with her sister.
NOTHING but interesting that a lot of families get back together in part in the Villages or near it. These numbers are from today's The Villages Daily Sun A4. Colorado -- 344. Georgia-- 915. Hawaii-- 52. Indiana-- 1,311. Michigan-- 3,057. New York-- 6, 303. Last edited by Taltarzac725; 03-19-2019 at 08:20 AM. |

I met a man who moved here from Hawaii and he said he could not afford to retire there. It is NOTHING but really expensive there.

My Dad had the choice of Reno, Nevada or Honolulu, HI as promotions from Milwaukee. He chose Reno, Nevada. He had had his fill of Hawaii before the send him to Korea after the Korean War had ended. He was an Army medic in a M.A.S.H. Unit. Met an interesting woman in 2017 or so who works here in the Villages as an Alzheimers specialist. She had been working in some kind of psychiatric hospital in Leesburg and subbing a lot of places as an on loan nurse. Before all that she was a combat nurse in Iraq. Tough lady. I see her sporadically. |
