It surprises me that some people on this blog can be so cruel. IMHO oftentimes it is criticizing someone for not following rues as they interpret them or doing things as they feel they should be done. With over 100 thousand people in TV there are going to be many different opinions. If someone disagrees let them say simply that. There is no reason to go on and denigrate the other persons post. Can't we just be kinder to each other. This is a big place and IMO most people here are kind to others. We are billed as Florida's friendliest hometown. Ninety- nine percent of the time the people who live here are just that. The other one percent . We can make this blog a kinder place to be.

Actually, Talk of the Villages is a much nicer and friendlier place since the Political Forum was shut down in mid January of 2018. It was unmoderated so people thought they could get away with just about anything and they did. NOTHING is a lot kinder and thoughtful a place. As is almost any thread on Talk of the Villages. There were no rules on that Political Forum.

Some Blow Up Personnel got bit on the Boobie, Passed gas and flew out the NOTHING window.

Our missing bestest buddy has acted on the thought that many have either thought of or acted on before, "Just tell her the truth. I am sick of the bickering and personal attacks and the people in charge being so unfair. My frustration level is much lower without TOTV". I have had the exact same feeling myself at different points and do understand and agree totally. The only difference is I refuse to be run off or leave, I'd make someone else leave first. I love TOTV'S and suggest it to every new person I meet in The Villages.

One person who I found to be fantastic although I didn't agree with Him/Her was Rubicon. In the old days, He/She was ripped up like I was, He/She bailed, I stayed! He/She added to every conversation but was run off by the same thing FW mentioned above. The list of people who bailed is long, too long, much too long.

I'd give anything to have FW back but I don't think so.

My favorite Uncle (who was also my Godfather) passed at 10:55 am this morning after being on a morphine drip for the past 48 hours. He is survived by my aunt. I am heart-broken that I am unable to attend his 1-day service later this week in Secaucus, NJ. But I told my Aunt I will fly up and spend time with her as soon as I am medically cleared.

Tomorrow we drive to Ocala for my 2-week check up on my hip surgery and to have the "zipline" removed. I've never heard of a zipline but it is nothing less than an alternative to stitches or staples.
