Hey guys, just wanted to stop by to say "hi". Been NOTHING but busy preparing for our cousins who are coming up from TV for a visit. Really looking forward to seeing them. Of course, I'm wearing myself out preparing for the visit like Mrs Scrubbing Bubbles herself, so I'm hurtin' tonight and my bed is calling me extra early.

Hope BK Hipster is continuing to do better and has the PT and pain under better control. Speaking of PT, I've got a good story for ya. Hubby tried to make an appt today to start PT for an ongoing problem he's had for a year now. After making the appt, he asked to speak to the therapist that he would be seeing. When he told the therapist what he had been doing to cut down on the pain and that I had been on him to continue doing it consistently instead of letting up each time it felt better, the therapist told him to cancel the appt and listen to your wife - lol. Now if I could only learn to listen to my own advice......

Have a good night, my NOTHING buddies. I'll try to check in again soon. Miss you all!

NOTHING misses you too. But don't worry, we'll leave a light on for you.

Now take care of that pain you're in..

Good morning to the few remaining Sweet Nothings,

What we lack in quantity we are going to have to make up in quality.

Here's wishing that you're getting NOTHING, but a little better and stronger...each and every day.

I just saw that Ozzie survived Ammonia. I just saw that Mick Jagger Got Some Satisfaction. I see that our own Superstar BK is going to be teaching the Art of Hip Checking for NOTHING but the NHL next year. Some of our other Posters will be making the world a Kinder and More Gentler Place This Year.

Good to hear from you, Abby. Where is our resident statistician? Maybe he found his Blonde? Talk to Yous later!

I now have statistics for all the states in the US for Villages households which have hometowns in them but still need to locate the one for Florida. It seemed to come up on NOTHING but will have to find it.

Arizona claims 106 Villages households.

These are NOTHING but in The Villages Daily Sun front section usually on A4. They have six states on just about every day.

My Dad guesses the state's numbers each day and has heard them read so many times by my Mom that he is often quite close.

Minnesota, Pennyslvania and Ohio have large numbers for Villages households as does New Jersey. Nevada is quite low if memory serves. Maryland quite high.
Looking for my first post on the Villages' households which I found and not for NOTHING. This is from around February 21, 2019. Have been looking for the number for Florida. Villagers who claim their hometowns are in FL.

I have the statistics for all the other states now!!!!

With the view count for Wednesday at the 8:55 AM EST at 271,001.

271, 679 for today's 8:55 AM EST mark.

We get 678 views which is OK but NOTHING to brag about.
272, 198

519 is the views for the 24 period from 8:55 AM 4/04/2019 EST to 04/05/2019.

Today's Villages households with hometowns from those states show:

Indiana-- 1,311.

Louisiana-- 95.

New Mexico-- 60.

North Dakota-- 64.

Oklahoma-- 81.

West Virginia-- 282.

Have not been to WV that I know of anyone but might have been through the little strip at the top on the way to Gettysburg from Chicagoland. That would have been more than 50 years ago.

I will put up a long post on NOTHING once I find the digits for households that came from a hometown in FL to the Villages.

Today's A4 in The Villages Daily Sun lists these six states for Villages' households that claim hometowns in these states:

Connecticut-- 1,461.

Iowa-- 422.

Oregon-- 69.

Pennsylvania-- 3,700.

Tennessee-- 495.

Wyoming-- 19.

One of the people I admire the most whom I met here in the Villages is from CT. She does not use the computer all that much though and seems to be rarely on Facebook.

I will be double-checking these numbers and not for NOTHING as well as looking for the numbers for Florida.

We moved here from Palm Harbor, FL in June of 2005 and had moved from Rohnert Park, CA to Palm Harbor, FL in May or June of 1996. Almost 23 years in Florida.

Two of my favorite blonde nurses are native to FL. One from Homestead and the other from Daytona Beach.

I kind of wonder if they would get along at all. To my knowledge they have never met.

Not 224 nor 613 but these are very much on my mind of late and not for NOTHING with my 30th U of MN Law Class of 1989 Re-Union coming up in a few weeks in Minneapolis and all the stuff going on in Minneapolis right now. Kind of fitting that it is a spill over of March Madness.

Someone and I am not sure who has been really helping me out of late. I did have supporters in the Twin Cities back in the 1980s as well as 1990s and after that.

I am thinking a lot of those 250 or so people I knew from the U of MN Law Class of 1989. There were 50 of them I had every class with in the First Year of Law School. I was Group A. And there were Groups A-E. Each with about 50 people in them. Some First Year classes were just 50 others 100.

My second year Law School roommate was also in the Class of 1989 and was in A. A U of NC graduate. Very bright and a nice guy.

My third year roommate was a MD from the U of Yonsei in South Korea who had also been an army doctor in South Korea. He was getting a 2nd Ph.D. at the U of MN.

I'd rather be making a parts run than scrubbing floors. Although unlike you, once I got those parts I'd have no idea what to do with them since they would mean NOTHING to me - lol.

And don't go hollering at me about scrubbing floors - hubby is trying to sleep off a bad sinus headache and I don't want anything to wake him or he'll be NOTHING but hollering at me too! I know, I'm bad, but I'll worry about myself once I get past the company coming and going........I promise.

And one of these days I'll get a chance to catch up on the posting here. There's a few I'd like to take the time to respond to, but one that cannot be let go is BK's post about her uncle. So sorry to hear of his passing. Some people, whether relatives or not, are "especially special" in our lives. So glad he is no longer suffering and that you will be able to be a support system for your aunt. He would be so very pleased about that, I'm sure. My deepest condolences.
