Thanks. Willard Scott is widely acknowledged at the first Donald McDonald, later called Ronald. Maybe that's where my brain went wrong.

Probably more the fact that Willard Scott did play Bozo the Clown on WRC-TV in Washington before doing Ronald McDonald
