Don't know how old your son was when he said that to you, (as age is relevant in this instance) but I would venture to say that he said it (or will remember it) with love and a chuckle. Consider it a compliment, he knows you love him abondanza!

Television characters count? My wife and her sisters claim the personality and mannerisms of the character Jeff on the tv series Rules of Engagement are extremely close to mine. I watched the show after that and am not sure that was a compliment or not. I have since been working on toning down my sarcasm

I figured John Wayne, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Kevin Costner, Tom Hanks, or Clint Eastwood, but my wife said more likely Mickey Rooney, Don Knotts, or Woody Allen. What does she know???

Been told by numerous people I look and act like Jean Smart (from Designing Women and The District)! But then again, all those people are old!!!
