Default one for you........one for me

How about that house and stone fence that "one for you ....one for me" live in . Heck, they could afford to buy 3 vehicles for each other !

The dealer would deliver the car with the understanding you would come in and have your wife sign the papers the next day so it will be in her name. As nothing is final if she wants to exchange it for a different vehicle there would be no problem. You would need to have excellent credit to do this and it would help immensely if you had an ongoing relationship with the dealer.
Good to know. Sending this to my husband!

As for the person who said the ad worked, I must disagree--the commercial is cute, but I couldn't tell you what brand the trucks are. On the other hand, the ad where he gives her a puppy and she gives him a truck, I remember what brand the puppy is, but not the truck!

I noticed at the end of the commercial the black one had transformed into SUV.

My wife and I bought matching motorcycles. One grey and the other black. I asked her which one she wanted. Much to my surprise she chose black. We still have the bikes.

Return the red SUV and get another truck for himself.

For me this is an easy one. My wife wouldn’t be caught dead driving a truck, of course she would take the SUV.

It’s a commercial !!!! Make believe, and kind of stupid at that.
If it was real, then unless the guy is super wealthy, he should have his head examined.....
GM does get their point across though. Nice vehicles!

I would do nothing. I like SUVs. If I needed a pickup, then just ask to trade for a day or so. Simple.

Are you selling houses, or should people just stay put? People with enough affluence to buy two cars (or a house) are helping the economy and the workers in the auto/house construction areas.

I'd have consulted with the other person (or at least had one of their closest confidants ask) to find out what they'd like before making such an expensive purchase. Even if I were a millionaire, I would have had that much decency. At least, then I wouldn't have been as bent out of shape as this writer seems to be that she got to pick what she really wanted!!!!

Thank goodness we are totally immune from commercials. It is just a pure coincidence, that the two Lexus' we purchased (of course my better half is with me on every large purchase) since 2002 - were in December. Come to think of it, that completely ineffective "December to remember" commercial, has been around for a long time. LOL

Or you can rent a pickup, by the hour, from places like Home Depot.
