I received this from a friend and copied and pasted the link into the browser to make sure it is a safe site.
It presents a blank map of U.S. and, one at a time, a picture of a state that you must left drag your mouse
and place the state in the proper position in the map of U.S.

It is enjoyable, interesting, and quite difficult as they states must be placed exactly in their proper
positions, difficult when starting out with midwestern states on a blank map.

Thanks, fun and interesting. You're right about starting out, tough to get the right alignment.

Cool

I did good except for Florida ....

Actually, I struggled most with the states in the Northeast...

Guess I don't know my geography very well.

It was fun.... thanks for sharing!

Default Does it always start with Nebraska??

I did fairly well. Only messed up with the very first state given-- Nebraska. Got the other 49 perfect.

Maybe, it depends on the order of the states that pop up. Does this change??

Ha Ha, BK - couldn't wait to receive your response!!! I wasn't disappointed. I am still recovering from the frustration.
And Tal only missed ONE!

I've just tried once so far. I got 45 right, but the order definitely matters. The first one that came up for me was Wyoming and the second was Tennessee, so neither had a border or anything surrounding it on the map. My placement of both of these states was scored wrong even though they were pretty darn close. Later same thing happened with Nevada. I placed it pretty darn close and was scored wrong. My "average miss" was only 24 miles!

OK, back to the puzzle. What fun!

What does that thing want from me!!?

Started out great. Georgia was perfect. I actually knew where Iowa and Wisconsin were supposed to go, but I missed by a few miles. Geez. Right church - wrong pew is what I say that was, but nooooo....

And then Mississippi showed up. I knew where it was supposed to go and I was trying to drag it along when it got away from me. Aaaaaauuuuuugth!!! I never did find it, and then, AND THEN the thing at the top said, "You are supposed to place the state on the map." - -- and I felt as though I was sensing a rather sarcastic tone in that comment.

And so I quit!

But I can see how it would be fun. It just leaves absolutely no room for interpretation. I simply must have room for interpretation. But maybe I will try again someday.

Goodnight.

Boomer

Apparently they moved Indiana and Rhode Island when I wasn't paying attention. Aside from those two everything seems o.k.
Indiana... Idaho... what's the difference?

Still fun to do this once in a while. Has not driven me crazy yet but that is a matter of opinion.
