This thread stinks!

I think Benjamin Franklin must have had too much time on his hands. Or maybe he worried about it because he himself was gassy.

I can tell you from personal experience that some foods are so bad they can run you out of the house, so to speak. When I was a kid I begged my mother to buy some "Bosco". I don't know if it's still on the market today but it was popular when I was a kid. It was a chocolate syrup that you added to a glass of milk. After consuming it for dinner, I would be gassy all evening in front of television and the gas was really awful smelling. Needless to say my mother never bought it again.

I even remember the gingle:

I love Bosco, it's rich and chocolately
Chocolate flavored Bosco, is mighty good for me
Moma puts it in my milk for extra energy
And chocolate flavored Bosco is rich in vitamin C
Oh, I love Bosco! Ta-dum Ta-dum
