It drown my plants, washed away my mulch, stained my sidewalk, and pooled between my neighbor and I, it needed to stop. I changed all that by running a gutter system underground, and rerouted the water to an area that drains better. You can do it too, by going to Home Depot and buying all the stuff, or if your unable you can email me and I will give you an estimate for the work to be done.
I don't think much thought was given to where rain water will run when these homes were built.
