We are closing this January on a home being built on an interior lot in Fernandina. Will be part time for 2 years. Need someone to do lawn maintenance (mowing, trimming, etc). What is a fair price? Any recommendations?

They will come knocking at your door as soon as you close, for now I am using Dean's but there are others out there that are cheaper. Dean's is $50.00 per month.

Massey's service is good, we've used to have them. But they don't provide all the services the OP is looking for. They don't mow, weed or trim the landscaping. The only reason we don't still have Massey is because we were looking to deal with just one company that does it all. Our current service cost with Stellar for an annual package breaks down to $166 a month for a total of $1995 annually. We would go back with Massey in a heartbeat if we were ever to need them again, but while we can find good full service elsewhere, that's not likely to happen.

Stellar currently has a Holiday Special on their annual packages where you get two free months - totaling 14 months - on your first year sign up. The cost of their individual mowing package is $62.50 per month, or their annual package is $650 which is broken down to $54.17 plus two extra months added for free during their special.
