Woke up yesterday to this beautiful flower on our Peruvian Apple Cactus. Was lucky to have noticed it as the blooms open at night and only last a day. Waiting now for the cactus apple to form. Supposedly they are edible. Hopefully my next post isn't from the Poison Control Center.......

It's edible. It's akin to the Dragon Fruit that you see for sale in the produce section.
