Once you have ARC approval, post free rocks on one of TV sites. Let the receiver come and collect them! Couldn't be simpler! Someone will take you up on the offer and you don't need to lift a finger. Be sure to tell them to bring a pickup or buckets.

"Slithery things" are everywhere in Florida - in the rocks, in the grass, in bushes and trees, and in the water.

I wondered, myself, about what is wrong with the rocks? If someone is moving a rock garden in order to replace it with grass - I would disagree with the logic and concept. Grass close to the house would attract more insects than the rocks. And grass has to be mowed and fertilized, whereas rocks do not. To me, a yard with a rock garden or rock circles around trees or shrubs is aesthetically more pleasing to the eye than ordinary grass. Many home lots with ALL grass and few plants or rocks are very plain and boring to me. That is just my opinion, but I would be interested to hear the counter-opinion, where someone would extoll the benefits of a plain, all grass yard. Just curious.

Are you talking about stone, or large rocks? Big difference. |
