Aetna medicare ppo
Turning 65 soon and my supplmental insurance will be Aetna Medicare PPO.I do not have a choice.
Looks like The Villages Hospital is not in the network. Anybody out there in TOTV currently in the Aetna Medicare PPO plan? Looking for information on providers in the network. Thank you. |

My husband has Aetna Medicare PPO that is paid for by his previous employer. The Villages health will not take it even though Aetna states it will pay. We were told that since we live out of state, our insurance will pay out of network providers that accept traditional Medicare. My husband had procedures performed in the Villages hospital and quadruple bypass in Leesburg hospital. The doctors and hospitals were paid with no money due from us. My husband pays $10 copay for physician visits

When I first went to The Villages Health, the doctor told me they take "most" insurances, except for Aetna. My daughter's job was to try to get Aetna to pay for claims they had denied. Apparently, they don't play well.

I have Aetna Medicare PPO through my former employer. Because it is from out of state, Aetna considers Central Florida as an ESA (extended service area). They will pay anyone certified to take Medicare as in network. I have had it for 9 years now and have hd no problems with it. Have been hospitalized in both Leesburg and TVRH and have never had to pay anything. I pay $10 copay for any physician, including specialists, and $50 copay for use of the ER, but it is waived if I am admitted.
