I never ever was made to believe that being vaccinated I would NOT get Covid. I do recall being told that vaccinated people would not be hospitalized and die. I figured a 95% chance of not getting Covid was good enough for me to feel safe. That safety net that I felt protected me from being hospitalized and that safety net would prevent me from dying. Again......that protection was good enough for me to feel safe from a virus that was extremely virulent at the time.

They were touting PROTECTION from the virus. Not "you won't get sick if you catch the virus"...

The "but it's only 95% protection" is a cop-out, using pretzel logic to justify them now trying to change what they initially said...

I see nothing in the post speaking to you. Of course there are people that can't be vaccinated. No one is for forcing them (you) to do that.

We are talking about the people saying things like, "The Government is putting nano-trackers in the vaccine", "The vaccine was rushed and not safe", "The government is lying ab0out the safety". "The vaccination companies created the COVID two make a profit", "may body my choice". And on and one.

Polio, Smallpox, measles and others have been reduced to almost eradicated by everyone everywhere that could get vaccinated, doing it, not just here but world wide, and then the anti-taxer's came out and measles came back, polio is making a come back, etc. Those are the ones, "my body, my choice".

EDIT: There was even a poster on here that said the government knew the vaccine was not safe, and EVERYONE that got it would have their entire immune system destroyed. Meaning all 200 million Americans are about to die of almost anything... crazy ****.

People are still dying, but not as many. And the hospitals have protocols that treat those that get it better, and so with the increase in vaccinations, and the increase in treatment protocols, the rate of hospitalization is going down, so people that need to go to the hospital for other things (like my AAA repair) can.

So much misinformation, and it is late and my fingers are tired of corrections.

Boosters do not just STOP working at 4 weeks - sigh. They reduce in effectiveness to 50% after 3 months (on average). And yes they still help with current variants, but less than against the original. Less is not nothing, less is less.

Viruses always mutate quickly, that is why we can thank the anti-vaxers for the current variants. Had everyone gotten vaccinated as soon as possible, there would have been fewer hosts, and fewer hosts means fewer variants.
