It amazes me that intelligent people would look for a physician on an anonymous board, from posters with fictitious names. ...Yikes

Why not? This is what this website is all about and why it's so successful. This website offers opinions, knowledge, and experience they share which can help one in many many ways.

I do believe that this website offers more believable information than all the marketing, sales, and advertising pitches in any paid ads. This website offers first-hand experiences that can be take-it or leave-it information. What's that expression? "The best form of advertising is by word of mouth."

Very well stated, Barb. If "same" knew us, he/she would know that we are not anonymous, we are in fact, friends and where else to get recommendations but from "friends"!?!?

Such a negative attitude!! Why do you bother to logon to this site if you're so critical about it???? You didn't use your real name, I see. You do know that it's optional and in most forums it's an ID that is used which can be your name and/or a "fun" name.

Go play in someone else's yard!! Leave the "happy campers" alone.

I'm not being critical of anyone or this board. I find true value on this board and I have learned many things from the generous sharing of so many participants. However, I am saying that medical advice is to important for anyone to take as credible, the medical opinions of anonymous people that are unaccountable, and that use, unverifiable made up first names.

Nobody is asking or giving medical advise. Someone just asked opinions of two doctors, this is very different from advise. I was there to be a support to my close friend who was diagnosed wrong by Dr. Michael Glick with what could be life threatening ahd he refused to listen to my friend with what other doctors said. Later confirmed by 2 other doctors and she is now being correctly treated but for sure not by Dr. Glick. This is not advise, this is someones experience, and non one is required to take it. This is nothing to do with the names that people use to write on this website.

Default Avoid the office of Glick and Rojas

Any opinions on either doctor?
Thanks for your input.
My husband and I both went to Dr. Rojas, who is in the office with Dr. Glick. I can honestly say, this was the worst experience either of us have ever had, and not just because of Dr. Rojas! The office staff was completely disorganized, to the extent where my husbands blood work was lost TWICE, requested records were never sent, we were given another patient's results, we were billed for an appointment that we never made, etc. There was a total lack of concern on the part of both the physician and the office staff for these mistakes. The receptionist, chewing gum and wearing jeans, lost our charts twice. I don't know anything about Dr. Glick as a physician, but a colleague of his told us to avoid that practice like the plague due to the extreme disorganization and multiple errors that she was being told about by others!

Default Don't know Dr. Glick, but...

I went to Doctor Ebaruche on the advice of people here. I didn't not care at all for her attitude. She refused to look at the medical history papers that I had brought with me. She point blank told me I did not have hypothyroidism unless she told me I did. She would do a special test. That special test was a TSH and a T4. I looked her straight in the eye and said, "Pardon me, I guess the doctors up North who have been diagnosing me as hypothroid due to the results of those very tests for the past 50 years were all wong. She told me to not tell her what they had found wrong with me, she would diagnose me herself. How arrogant!!! Why should I repeat a bunch of tests that I have already taken, and which I brought proof of in my medical record?
I now go to a PA named Jaon DeRiggs who is in with Dr. Azzizuleh. I lie her very much. I am glad that I switched.

It allows office docs to keep a more normal schedule and gives the patient a physician who is always there for them while in the hospital.

I've been in the hospital several times and felt my regular doctor visit was only an excuse to send me a bill. While there I was in the care of a surgeon and my family doctor seeing me was a waste of time except for him.
I and my wife are very pleased with Dr. Eburuche. She seems very through and tells it like it is which is for your benefit.

Dr Glick's office is very very disorganized and the wait time can exceed one hour. After 2 times sitting in the office for over an hour I went to another GP. Now I wait no longer than 15 minutes.

I know both of them, have been in the medical profession myself for over 25 years and I chose Dr. Eburuche. As was posted earlier here, she does not mince words and is a blunt communicator, but she tells it like it is. She is extremely thorough and follows up well. I had a very serious situation and she had to refer me to a neurosurgeon of which she had to eventually send me to Shands. Her follow up was wonderful and her staff is extremely accommodating to fit you in on last minute appts.

Just my $0.02 worth.
