Sure sounds like a first come first served system based on postings on this thread (and others).

Got the first dose yesterday morning. It took about twenty minutes from start to finish and that includes the mandatory 15 minute observation period after the shot to make sure you don't have an allergic reaction to the the shot itself. Very well organized with lots of news media present. Other than slight soreness around injection site no other symptoms as of yet. Very good experience, we just need to scale this up so that everyone that wants a vaccination can get one as soon as possible.

They are giving out appointments. They appear to be on the right track and it appears they are on OUR SIDE. Please try to see how good this is. I do not see any vile conspiracy here.

Read Post No. 56. Many people who signed up on Monday have not heard anything yet.

You must be age eligible. You must be a citizen of the U.S. It may not be completely computerized. It is HERE. It is available. It is coming to you soon. I wish you both many years of good health. You already are so important to many who have read your sage advice for years. God Bless.

I'm not saying there is a conspiracy. Just correcting those who say that it is a first come, first served system. Apparently, it is not.

Now just a matter of matching known supply availability against the demand list....as the list grows the time to get a response will surely lengthen.

I thank whoever organized this here in The Villages. AND the scientists and the health workers and anyone who was part of getting us this highly effective vaccine. YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Update: We each got our scheduling email around 9:30 pm last evening at our respective email address, so about 35 hours after applying. The first appointments available were Jan. 23 late in the afternoon. I chose morning of Jan. 24. Second dose is on Feb. 21at same time of day. I signed up using zeroes and "no insurance."

Default Saferestart

I got the push notice Sunday evening and got my first shot yesterday at 1:30pm. My second shot is scheduled for Feb 9. (I did not give actual ssn or insurance info). Several friends have applied, and some have received codes to schedule appointments. Not certain what order they are going in as some signed up earlier than others that are getting appointments. The site was very well run only look less than 40 minutes, including the 15 minute observation wait time.

We received our appointment dates and we both are scheduled to go to 3705 Woodridge Drive which is the large field right behind Fresh Market off of 466. There are large white tents there.
