Default Covid vaccinations

You do a disservice to everyone involved by not entering your social security and insurance information. The SSN is used to track the vaccine administration (brand, dates of injections, etc) and the insurance info is used to pay for it. Otherwise the county absorbs the cost and the information will not be provided to your insurance company - another way to track the vaccination. I work with FEMA and it eliminates a ton of work for the staff if you provide the information. You will not get an earlier date by eliminating it. They are scheduling it by age priority.

Congrats, Gracie! And thanks for the update. I'm going to Leesburg on Friday. Can't wait.

So thankful to DJT who believed that it could be done!

I applied to this website Monday, Jan. 11th and still have not heard. Wondering what type of order they are going in. My sister applied a few hours earlier than me on Jan. 11th and was notified to make appointments. She has appointments for the first and second dose. I guess those few hours lapse is what makes the difference between having an appointment already and still having to wait to be notified to make an appointment.

Not trying to be discriminatory. This, Reuters, I have always thought to be a valid source. Says "All Americans". I wish you vaccination Barefoot. You know I do.

Did you sign up today (Jan 13th) and got your appointments in the same day?

So, guess I just have to wait and see if I get it.
Why don't you just go with your wife and see if they will vaccinate you at the same time as her? Show them a copy of your email that you already completed step 2 in the registration process. They may vaccinate you at the same time as your wife. All they can say is "no" but I certainly would give it a try.

I surely hope that those who have appointments for their second shot will have vaccines available at the time they are to have their second shots.

What I am wondering, of course, is why something like this wasn’t developed and in place nationwide ready for use whenever a vaccine was ready. If it can be done now, it could have been done six months ago and sent out to every state and county, ready to turn on. How hard was it to anticipate that this would be necessary?
I hear ya! I have already said that the vaccination process should have been in the works back in March of 2019. "They" had to know there would be a massive vaccination effort for all Americans. Why not be prepared?

I've read just the opposite about the site on 466. I've heard they are very organized and the process went very smoothly.

I don't understand why I applied BEFORE you and am still waiting to hear from them to make the appointment. I'm beginning to worry that my application is LOST.

Signed up on the 12th. As yet to receive notice with dates. The request for a copy of my insurance card was impossible - no images appeared!! I entered an image that was new to my photos page. How many people have an image of their insurance card - or do the images actually appear???
