Smile Seeking Pool with lift for Physical Therapy

Are any of the swimming pools in The Villages equipped with a lift to get a disabled person in and out of the water?

My physical therapist says walking in a swimming pool, which will give me buoyancy, will greatly accelerate restoring my ability to walk.

Very warm water would be a big plus. I get cold easily.

Later I may go to an outpatient physical therapy facility with a pool but I am delaying that because when I start with outpatient therapy I will no longer qualify for home health care.

Any information will be appreciated.

There are three pools with lifts. Check the recreation news. The description of the facilities will list where. I do not remember which three and I am out of town. One pool in the historic section also has a hot tub.

The hilltop pool on St. Andrews Blvd in the village of country club hills has a lift and the adult pool on Webb Way in the village of silver lake has the hot tub.

Thanks. I'll check the recreation news. I'm in the Village of Piedmont and it would be nice to find one in this area.

Carl, for some reason, I thought the Calumet Grove pool had a lift. I hope I'm not making this up - right up your alley for location!

Thank you Bogie Shooter, I had just settled down to go through the Recreation News when I saw your message. You saved me some work.

Thank you Barefoot for the PM. That was most valuable information. I replied to your PM.

Folks, I think I have my answers. Thanks for all the responses. To me this is the kind of thing that really makes TOTV a valuable resource.
