Default Help, my Crown Came Off, Need A Dentist

Going home in 2.5 weeks, and a crown came off a lower tooth. I need a dentist locally that would take me in and put a temporary on until I get back home to be certain all is good and that my dentist would re-cement my crown again. Never used a dentist here and not sure who to try for Emergency Basis. Thanks for any suggestions. Poor timing, eh?

I've been going to Dr Whitt in Lady Lake and have been very satisfied. Stay away from Aspen Dental.

I had a broken crown and was able to be seen quickly by Dr. Don Burbank in Lady Lake. I was impressed with his experience and the professionalism of his office staff.

If you have the crown put toothpaste in it and put it back on your tooth. It holds well until you can get to the dentist. Using sensitive toothpaste is more comfortable if you have some. I have done this many times over the years, as my dentist 3 cities ago told me to do.

I've been told by a dental hygenist that using sugar-free chewing gum will anchor the crown until you get to your dentist. Obviously that's a temporary fix. And of course, you can't eat anything too substantial or sticky on that side of your mouth.

There's actually a temporary adhesive that you can buy at CVS or Walgreen's that will hold it for a few weeks.
