Default Balance problems group

Is there a group in TV who practice balance exercises on a regular basis, or even a regular Tai Chi club. I know Tai Chi is available through the school, but only for a four day session. I need to find a group who regularly work on balance.

Thanks.

Worth research anyway....Bob Eubanks and 60uP Balance Board - Amazon #1 | Healthy Living After 60.

In yoga, our balance exercise was to stand on one leg (think Karate Kid) in a stork position. Try to stay at least 15 seconds, more is better. Then the other leg.
The good thing about this practice is you can do it most anywhere at anytime (ie: grocery line!), no class or schedule needed.

Many classes have been disrupted due to the pandemic, but that would be great to do too. Best wishes.

Thank you for the suggestion, but I cannot get him near a yoga group or class. Legs are the problem.

There is an excellent Tai Chi class on Mondays at La Hacienda Rec center. The class focuses on balance and arthritis help. Just remembered there is also class on Tuesday morning at Canal Street and maybe classes at a rec center south of 446a, I can't remember which one. Maybe Manatee. Call the rec centers for covid protocols. The teachers are all excellent.

Ebay has some 60up balance boards. There are also several other brands on Amazon.
I'm not overly familiar with them, but something to explore for sure.

MVP had balance classes before Covid, but haven’t checked lately.

Go to Districtgov.org, Recreation Dept., Resident Lifestyle Clubs & Contacts and do a search. This is a list of all the clubs in TV, when they meet and who to contact for info. Easier than looking in the Rec News.
