I see Dr Albino, he seems to know his stuff and takes his time to tell you what he thinks is the problem and answer your questions. 352-751-4955

Dennis Ga:

Dr. Albino is widely acknowledged as The Best Pulmonologist in The Villages! That said, there are a number of others, equally qualified.

I won't discuss them in this open forum, but you are welcome to send me a private message!

I serve as Vice President of The Villages Airheads [see www.thevillagesairheads.com], a support group for those challenged by breathing difficulties, and frequently requiring supplemental oxygen.

We meet, in a support group environment, on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at Mulberry Grove Regional Recreation Center, 10:00 - 12:00. In addition, there is a breathing & exercise class helping those challenged adapt to their challenges on the 1st and 3rd Fridays, same place, same time.

I look forward to meeting you at our next Breathing & Exercise Class, on Fri., 01/04/13, at Mulberry, as above!

Just thought I'd add the I met a fellow at The Salt Room at the end of the Kohl's plaza on 441. He had COPD and was on 2 liters oxygen daily. After just 4 visits to The Salt Room he was down to 1 and a half liters. We went for respiratory issues and found it really helpful. If you google Salt Room The Villages you can read all about it and we really found it very helpful. Good luck with your health.

Dr. Albino is one of the most well educated, nicest physicians that I have ever met. He will take good care of you.

Default COOD Doctor in The Villages

I would highly recommend Dr Albino for your COPD diagnosis. He is extremely knowledgeable, treats each of his patients with respect and educates the patient and the family as well. I am sure you would be very happy with him as one of your health care providers. He is top notch and well educated in his field of practice.

Dr. Betancourt is one of the best in The Villages area treating COPD.

There are several drugs that treat COPD, including Daliresp, Spariva, and a new Inhaller that just came out called Tudorza.
