Default Dr. Question

Had an app't today with a dr. and when they took my vitals they discovered my heart rate is slow. They did a ekg, then told me it was "steady" but they are referring me to a cardiologist to be on the safe side, I guess. We have FL Blue and TVH....there are 2 cardiologists with the Specialty Clinic. I'm wondering if given a choice---which one?? NOW whenever people ask questions---others will answer that theirs is the best. I don't want those kinds of question!!!!! I want to stay in network....so please be kind and give me answers that pretain. Thank you!

I'm slowly switching my Drs to FL and I had my first consult/exam with Cirtus Cardiology (in LSL). Pleased with the cafe and staff...

You might have added the 2 names you can see at that clinic as you only want feedback on them, not the dozens of other cardiologists.

Wife and I use Dr Herman. Top notch. One of my golfing buddies just switched to him because he was displeased with the one he had.

You do not have to use The Villages cardiologists to continue with them for primary care

Default Slow heart rate

My heart rate has been the low 50’s my whole life. Doctor said if I have no other symptoms, not to worry about it.

I have Florida Blue and Villages Health. I see Dr Herman and am very well satisfied with him. He’s not an alarmist and he knows his stuff

What is the heart rate? Do you have loss of balance or feel dizzy? If not I would not go to any doctor. A good diet, exercise, laughter and some sunshine usually helps.

I have Fl blue and use Dr Mamoud as my cardiologist at Orlando Health FHV. They have offices in Leesburg and SR 44 as well as other locations around the north end of the villages.

Thanks for the responses....guess my question wasn't clear enough. The two dr.s are Dr. Herman and his associate with The Specialty Clinic. I did NOT wish to hear of other clinics in or near The Villages. I prefer to stay with The Specialty Clinic----for now. BUT thank you anyway!!

We don't know the OPs resting heart rate, so I'm answering in a vacuum. However, I can honestly say I never treated a patient with bradycardia < 35 or > 2.6 sec pauses with "laughter and sunshine"
