In our ED we would often see the results of a "Chiropractic Adjustment." Think about that.

Yep. I've also had to bury patients as the result of chiropractic "care". The worst was a nursing supervisor who should have known better----8 months of "adjustments" without so much as an x-ray and progressive bilateral lower extremity weakness and pain until she showed up in our ED. I had to send her to the University Medical Center for emergency radiation therapy after finding her carcinoma pressing on her lumbar cord having eaten through the bodies of L2,3 and 4. She lived 5 weeks.

Dr. Kuhn in Wildwood, has helped me with multiple back issues. I recommend him for chiropractic. I recommend The Stretch Zone for muscles & ligaments.

Dr. Kuhn, on 301 in Wildwood. Great results. I noticed another reply who recommended Dr. Porter off of 301. I also use Dr. Porter as he is a great Veterinarian. I never used him for my back though. Go with Dr. Kuhn.

Go with "Dr." Kuhn as opposed to a VETERINARIAN???? Good advice, kind of.

OOPS, I corrected my initial reply, the cats love Dr. Porter, I love Dr. Kuhns.

Another vote for Dr Kuhn. I see him for a few sessions once or twice a year for flares of back or neck pain. He also completely eliminated chronic daily headaches for which I'd been seeing a neurologist for months, within maybe 3 or 4 visits.

I've been going to a chiropractor for many years before moving to the Villages. It's always been my belief that it prevents bodily problems, as well as cures some. I would get an adjustment every month whether I had pain or not. That's called a maintenance adjustment. However, since moving here and reaching Medicare age, I can't find a doc who takes that insurance and will do maintenance. Another factor here is age. One doc said that he once hurt a senior doing an adjustment. I went to him twice when I had pain, he gave me a series of the best adjustments I ever had. I thought " I finally found a great chiropractor in TV!" But he doesn't do maintenance.
Putting two and two together, I can surmise that his malpractice insurance probably has something to do with this.
Also, apparently Medicare doesn't cover "maintenance." There was one Village chiropractor that had on his website "maintenance" but he took it off the last time I check. Can anyone show me a chiropractor that has that word on their site? Dr Kuhn doesn't. Or is there a chiro who doesn't take Medicare, only cash ?
I went to Legacy for a while, but the same thing happened. I would say " you forgot to do the side adjustment," she replied "yes I did." Although I don't believe that doc works there anymore.

Is this the same Chris that used to work at Legacy?
