Default MASA (Medical Access & Service Advantage)

Recently attended a presentation on MASA membership.
They stated they have over 2 Million members worldwide & about 30,000 in T.V.
This program covers unreimbursed costs for medical transportation, worldwide.
Question Is; has anyone in T.V. become a member and/or used this service?
Would you be able to share any information about MASA ?
Thanks in advance.

We are members. Signed up years ago. Cards in our wallets, if needed. It's truly peace of mind. In the event of ambulances or air transport etc. Insur cover just so much of an ambulance, and no air or other. I know the presentation is very informative, and you can go back to review again or ask questions. We went twice before buying. Decided to after seeing many airlifts here in TV... It covers SO much including grandkids under 18.
Knock on wood have never needed the insurance, BUT If & When, peace of mind.
Please no haters - if you know nothing about it...

Does it cover an unlimited number of emergencies, or just one per year, or one per subscription - the lifetime family bonus plus whatever it is - how many air-lifts are covered during the family's lifetime?

I wouldn't worry about ambulances since Medicare covers all but a modest co-pay until a reasonable deductible is met. But air-lifts from hospital to hospital could make or break a Senior citizen's investments. So if they're at risk, and need a few of those and MASA covers them all, that could be well worth the price.

Default Yes, but never used it

Yes, we have been members for many years, and no we have never had to use it. We bought the lifetime membership primarily because we travel outside of the U.S. frequently and it covers your return if you are incapacitated while traveling. Plus, we were snowbirds for about 18yrs and it will cover getting someone back closer to your chosen home if hospitalized etc.
We would not have bought it if we didn't travel so much.

However, we have attended a few of their presentations (free lunch haha) and heard testimonies from people who are members and had to use the service. They were very happy with the results. These were legitimate, ordinary people, not shills. We knew a couple of them.

We bought it. Luckily have never had to use it, but since I travel frequently both in and out of the country, it adds piece of mind.

Went to a presentation, while there I googled it. The special presentation price was several hundred more than buying it directly, on line.

Enough said.

She died in a hospital in the U.S. The next year her husband told me the airlift was, I believe, $25,000.

Purchase an Amex short term policy when going out of the country. Inexpensive and this service provides coverage the same coverage

We've been members since 2019. It's a very house and legit service. It pays unlimited times per year. Many of our friends and family are members. Even with insurance/medicare a regular ambulance trip will still cost you $109-$200 or more. Airlift for burns / other emergencies is what will be a huge expense not covered by insurance -- but is covered by MASA.

That's the info I was asking for, thanks! Considering that some emergencies require a transfer from Spanish Plaines (formerly The Villages Regional) to Gainesville, that would be a HUGE savings for people at risk.
