Why does it take 4 weeks to get an authorization for a procedure?

I ordered a shirt on Amazon yesterday morning and it was on my doorstep this morning

I am guessing you are on an ADVANTAGE plan, we are both on traditional Medicare and have never had any problems with referrals or authorizations, however occasionally the doctor we were referred to was very busy.

Google the LA Times article about the man that used Amazon One Health. Pretty sure you don't really want Jeff Bezos in charge of your Medical.
