I highly recommend Dr. Karina. He performed my husband's total knee replacement and a partial knee replacement. Look at his credentials, they're amazing. He even designed some of the surgical instruments he uses in surgery. In addition, his team takes care of the pre-surgery to post-surgery and physical therapy for your recovery with the whole process & you in mind.

To the OP: Was this an infection in the original knee or an infection in a knee replacement? I feel quite certain that some specialists won't deal with conditions that are beyond the usual scope of replacing knees.

Of course, a quick phone call to their office will determine that.

Me too. Happy Dr Duke former patient here. Although it sounds like the OP needs a revision. Gulp.

Optimotion Orthopaedics | Orthopaedic Surgeon Orlando FL

Both doctors are excellent. Dr Nguyen is rated one of the best by Castle Connelly. They do their surgeries in Orlando but see patients in the office and 44 & Buena Vista.

I agree.
I have heard good reports about Dr Nyugen or Nguyen (spelling) in Orlando. That is who I would go to.

Default Ortho Surgeon

To the OP, Carla B is correct, not all surgeons are willing to take on this type of case. As an RN, operating room and Home Health Care, in the area, I am familiar with the after care of patients of most of the surgeons mentioned and all are good. But my bet is that Dr Kerina is the one most likely to be willing to take on a previously complicated case. I saw many patients that he had accepted with previous complications and they all did well following his repair. Good luck in your search and pending surgery.
